Curbs makes sense, other than if you actually consider from his side why on earth would he want to do a job in League One after 10+ years chilling out on Qatari and Paddy Power money. Sure he's having a lovely time coming to the Valley for the coverage but I don't get the sense he's still got the fire to want to manage a club day in day out
Gutted. I think it’s time to go which I don’t think I ever thought I’d say. I love Lee and he gave us Wembley but the team are lost and the buck stops with him.
That said, I still think he’ll be here till the end of the season.
I’m torn with this,, if he goes, he goes with credit, not only for Wembley, but for standing by us in our hour of need, part of me feels we as a club owe him that, but the other part knows something is wrong, he’s either given up (look how downbeat he was after fleetwood) or lost the confidence and respect of the squad, or both.
Very pivotal moment so early in Thomas ownership, one that could set the tone for his ambitions either way, especially after all the great PR and upbeat predictions of the future.
You could put money on the excuses that were going to get rolled out

Lee, how about you bring up the fact you played a back 5 against the bottom side in the league, at home, with Ben Purrington seemingly our most attacking outlet?
No way will Curbs want this! He won’t jump in Bowyers grave!
He just said: "You alright Bows" really sympathically when he walked over
Feel sorry for Bowyer when they said goodbye...think he knows his days are numbered and is gutted.
He's a tough bloke is Bowyer and looks vulnerable and horrible to see. He's given his best for us since day one as a player and manager and should not be slagged, name called or insulted as a bloke even if he has come up short and is not the man to take us forward which may well be the case.
Curbs ain't happening ffs, you all sound like that bloke who pined after his lost lover from Blackpool.
Hmm so Curbs to the end of the season doesn’t make sense to you?
You’d rather go for a rushed appointment?
Interesting.
I’m sure Curbs would do a great job in the third tier but he hasn’t been interested in managing a football club in a decade. Why would he come out of his cushy media job now to manage a club that can’t buy a win in League One?
I think Bowyer should go but fair play to him for coming out and doing the Valley Pass videos each game. Whilst it is nice for fans to get insight I hope they do away with it quickly. Frankly doesn't matter what a manager says when you have just lost to the bottom team and in a run of form we are. People will be upset. Just let Minto, Morts and Curbs talk it through and leave the manager alone IMO.
Agreed curbs is a fairytale, he hasn’t managed for a generation now, I want a league one alladyce. We’ve got the players for an experienced manager to come in a win games with, two big men up top, wingers etc. Plays off aren’t out of the picture, only if bowyer stays.
If lee goes I hope it is with a sense of perspective from us the fans. I think it is time to change, but there was a time not long ago when Lee Bowyer was just about the only thing we had going for us. He also gave us a play off and Wembley. I simply think it's now like the situation with Keegan and England. Lee is being outmanaged by everybody from Evans to Jackett to and more. Lets dial down the hatred whilst acknowledging our distress, and accept that we are in a situation where one individual isn't bigger than the club.
Very sensible post, for all the excuses this year there have been managers who have just outfoxed him.

Delusional.

FFS NO. We aren't a circus club anymore.
Have a proper application and interview process. Or headhunt from a lower league. Stop this sentimental 'we must have charlton man' shite.

Put JJ or Euell in caretaker role and go through a proper recruitment process.
