He's been a good player before joining us. Would be interesting to know why he can't produce that form for us.  

Playing a diamond formation is very hard work and that can effect how one performs when you do get the ball. I think he suits a 4-4-2.

Pleasantly surprised by that team. Would say it’s about the best we can put out, accounting for injuries, apart from starting Ronnie. Maybe could’ve had Purtington any left back and Maatsen in midfield one of Millar or Williams for a bit more defensive balance but happy to see attacking intent from the start. 

Please please please no breakdown from Williams or Chuks. 

Athletico Charlton

Soft middle, short, weak midfielders.  Should be decent going forwards but I hope Bristol Rovers are not a big side.  Team is as good as it gets with players available though, except I would play Purrington for his height and physicality ahead of Maatsen and rest the latter for this one.

Great bloke Steve Brown. had the pleasure to meet him a few times both when he was at Charlton and when he was manager at Ebbsfleet. always felt we should of played him more. personally rated him better than Fortune.

Same here, but Brownie is only a few months younger. It took him longer to break through, not helped by a bad knee injury.
