Yeah, it takes time to set in, but sure there's four years before the next World Cup final (nothing's going to change this year), so in or around 160-200 matches for each top player to begin to have this behaviour ingrained into them.
They don't take their shirt off half as much as before (McLeod being the exception that proves the rule )
