As the Surrey fans seem to have given up on their thread and instead hang out with the cool kids here, worth noting that Rikki Clarke will retire at the end of the season. Only 39, so a young whippersnapper compared to Stevo!
Both absolute legends in my opinion. I don't think Stevo is human and he will still be pissing me off by taking wickets at the Oval in about ten years time. 🤦♂️
A god in human form, sent to this world by the Supreme Being to wreak havoc on Slurrey for all eternity.
Kent's side for the 50 over competition looks better than I feared, especially as many of the absent players have been poor this season anyway (Denly, DBD, Blake) or missing much of the time anyway (Billings, Crawley). Leaning captains

Matt Walker is the assistant head coach for the Invincibles, so who will be leading Kent in the Royal London?
I think it will be a combination of the bowling and batting coaches, Simon Cook and Mike Yardy, with the likes of Min Patel being involved at some point
Doesn’t it make you proud. I genuinely wish the lads well but it has become a hollow largely irrelevant competition for me. I find it immensely sad just 3 of the names listed have their roots in Kent cricket.

Just two in today's starting XI with the likes of Billings, Denly, Blake, DBD, Crawley and Cox all at that other comp
Congratulations to Ollie Robinson on skippering the side at just 22. Hindsight and all that but I wouldn't mind betting, if he had the chance again, he'd choose to bat rather than bowl.

Looking forward to Thursday already !
BTW Have logged onto the Kent website & found the matchday info is now in place with details about transport, parking etc.
Our tickets state we should enter via Gate A but I can't find a map/plan of the Ground anywhere....
Does anyone know if this entry point is in Worsley Bridge Road, please ?

242/1
Have that Durham.
271-2 off 37.2
