  • Kent's side for the 50 over competition looks better than I feared, especially as many of the absent players have been poor this season anyway (Denly, DBD, Blake) or missing much of the time anyway (Billings, Crawley). Leaning captains

Pleased to say it's a much stronger squad than I feared.

Looking forward to Thursday already !

BTW Have logged onto the Kent website & found the matchday info is now in place with details about transport, parking etc.

Our tickets state we should enter via Gate A but I can't find a map/plan of the Ground anywhere....

Does anyone know if this entry point is in Worsley Bridge Road, please ?

Just had a look at some of the other teams squads for this competition. I’m telling you, we look in a strong position.
  • Matt Walker is the assistant head coach for the Invincibles, so who will be leading Kent in the Royal London?

I think it will be a combination of the bowling and batting coaches, Simon Cook and Mike Yardy, with the likes of Min Patel being involved at some point
  • Doesn’t it make you proud. I genuinely wish the lads well but it has become a hollow largely irrelevant competition for me. I find it immensely sad just 3 of the names listed have their roots in Kent cricket.

Just two in today's starting XI with the likes of Billings, Denly, Blake, DBD, Crawley and Cox all at that other comp
  • We win the toss, put Durham in. No Leaning. Ollie Robinson captains the side.
  • Leaning self isolating and will miss the first 2 matches

Can billings be added when he is out of isolation?

    edit. The 100
  • Durham 107-0 off 16. Not looking great for us.
  • 207-0 off 31

    Have that Durham.
    Positively collapsing!

    271-2 off 37.2
  • Congratulations to Ollie Robinson on skippering the side at just 22. Hindsight and all that but I wouldn't mind betting, if he had the chance again, he'd choose to bat rather than bowl.
  • Cameron Bancroft is a pretty decent player to have at number 4 for this competition, I assume none of the 100 teams wanted him
  • 358-3 off 46
  • Sean Dickson has come in for the last 4 overs to join Bancroft
  • Dickson run out for 6. Just want you want when you've had a couple of hours of pad rash!

  • Finish on 405-4. Last over bowled by Quinn went for 20!

reckon we will get this in 48.2 for only 3 wickets

If this happens (exact score and deliveries) I will get a tattoo of you on my arm
Quoted so you cant back out

    I’m confident.

    plus, I didn’t quote scale.
  • 45-2

    its still on

Quinn finished 3 runs short of a century  :o
  • 51-3 after 7 overs
  • In Munsey and Finch we trust
  • I’m confident in saying I’ll get Charlton life members faces tattooed on my arm as long as Kuhn is in the team
