The joy in those eyes there.
wonder if ex managers keep all the gear given them by their former club(s) ? .. If so (e.g. Warnock) must have a double garage full

I think Watson has played well last couple of games, but I am pleased that JJ has put out what looks like an attacking side.

First time I’ve ever watched VP, am absolutely loving this... could listened to the talk all day.
    It's brilliant isn't it.
Lord, I'm going to miss this if it stops when crowds go back into the ground.

Would you say that on live tv if something had not already happened?

Jackson: Surprised and disappointed to see Bowyer go
Not going to say "he applied for ever job that came up in the the last 12 weeks" is he, even if that was true.

Jackson comes across so well. He’s obviously a good coach but he’s also got a bit of a personality. What he would be like tactically we have no idea but I think his man management and the respect from his players would be fantastic.

Let's not get too carried away with the Curbs thing, it sounds like he wants Johnnie to make his own mark. Any role would likely be in the background or in an unofficial capacity.
  • Curbs has admitted he'd be happy with the role :open_mouth:

Would be happy to offer any help to Jacko if he wants it
Now that would be an exciting development in my book. Curbs and JJ anyone?
    100%

At least until the end of the season and then see where we are
  • Charlton v Crewe has been re-arranged, perfect given the circumstances

Jackson can take charge of Saturday @ Wimbledon and then either has two weeks as the Manager or the new man has two weeks to come in and get used to the players

seems pretty obvious that if the team goes on a run under his 'stewardship', he'll be in with a good shout to get the gig f/t

    he's a smooth talking bastard.

Minto likened him to a young Pep in looks - haha

Get Andy Hughes back as JJ's number two

Remember him doing an impressive interview post Sheffield Wednesday (might have been the Cup game) and he was really bigging up some of the younger players and his team mates

Nah Id add Curbs to Roddy and give Curbs the main role of assisting JJ while Roddy dealt with the club footballing structure so as not to detract from their 1st Team roles.

Im excited again, as if am part of the recruitment and management process!

Sadly, I will say that LB's abrasive words/look/manner got me disconnected ever since I started a thread as to how many games people have purchased this season.

JFC: Players were shocked, yet mood in the camp is good.

Its a shame Bowyer has gone but as professionals we've just got to get on with it

Jackson's pre match interview was at least normal and our manager can now effortlessly put a sentence together.
