43 - Good save by Tzanev to deny Millar. Still 1-2. #AFCW

Stockley heads the corner clear and Morgan kicks it out for their throw.

Dons have a long throw level with the LH corner of the area.

They're much more formal than I'd imagined in Wimbledon...

Why does Amos never aim his kicks at Stockley
    He does 😑
Why you picking on me today daz

I'm just responding to what I see. I was insinuating Amos' kicks are never accurate

A combination of several players get the ball out and Miller nearly gets on a run, but ends up conceding a throw near the dugouts

Adkins has SO much more footballing erudition than Bowyer. He saw enough in the opening 3 minutes to realise which formation change would suit us

Late comer to the discussion, so apologies if it's been covered before, but what was the apology to the fan by Thomas before the game for?
Cancel that.   Just found the earlier discussion.
    Ok. But what happened?
Who knows, but at least I'm as clueless as everyone else.   Thought I was missing out on something!

Good half, with only the goal against being an issue.  Midfield is dominant, and defence holding out well.  The re-worked attack is functioning too, so all good.

First 45-minute period this year without the word turgid in the match thread.....fact
  • Best first half all season
  • Good half. Time for a lettuce sandwich and a cup of Earl Grey.

It's weird how he didn't have more chances before now. Thanks Lee 👍🏼

When did we have this many shots in the first half?

  • That was alright that half wasnt it :)

Still a bit worried defensively but we're playing good attacking Football

Notice that Adkins has changed formation to counter the opposition a few times

Inspired choice to bring on Jaiyesimi on instead of Aneke or Schwartz

How the hell are we currently fifth!!
  • Comfortable.

The most scary thing of that half was watching Watson and Pratley warming up and trying to catch the manager's eye.
  • Well well well. Who thought we could play attacking quick tempo football.

Plenty of ways to win a game of course, and ultimately it is the result that matters, but that was certainly quiet a refreshing half to watch as a Charlton fan.

Two assists from Miller, NA is a messiah!

Moved it nicely, good width, good link play, always had runners... It's a long way from the low-chance-creation brand we've had for the past few years.

Like the midfield three of Morgan, JFC and Shinnie.

    Very enjoyable.
But we haven’t won this despite what looks like a gap in class.

For the goal against, the usual massive hole in midfield on the turnover was on show again. People can bitch and moan all they like about Watson and Pratley but fact is without them it only takes one misplaced pass 70 yards up
the pitch and our back 4 are exposed one or two passes later. The flip side is we’ve lived the ball much better and the forwards are all making good runs. We look as fluent in attack as we have done all season. Overall happy with that first half.
