Australia vs Peru for a place @ the World Cup - 13th June 2022 - This is the same Australia who left the OFC for the AFC because they were fed up of having to face a COMMEBOL team in the World Cup Play-Offs4

So in a week when the world cup would've started (had it been anywhere but the middle east), Qatar is hosting qualifiers in open air stadiums?QatarNapsy said:cafctom said:
Let us know what the stadium is like. Seeing 3x games there in November.QatarNapsy said:
I'll be there tonight.....looking forward to it.HastingsRed said:Big game tonight.....UAE V Australia.....winner plays Peru.

Even though the game was 9pm at night it must still be absolutely roasting there?1 -
One of the few stadiums with surface level air conditioning I believe. The players didn’t seem to be too bothered by the conditions from what I saw.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

It was 43 degrees about an hour before kick off, but a dry heat so not uncomfortable. Inside the stadium its air conditioned to around 25 degrees at pitch level and around 28 degrees in the stands.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

One of the club stadiums here has a/c vents under the seats in the stands, but you end up with frozen feet, and the locals have the issue where it blows up their thobes

Hang on a moment. Are you saying that they have air conditioning in a stadium without a roof?!0
