I wish people wouldn't keep going on about how we're in the easier side of the draw. It's just asking for Sweden or Ukraine to do an Iceland to us.
Generally thought Sterling was really good today, but he was a lucky lucky boy that Muller put his shot wide when they broke after that sloppy pass of his.
I make us the favourites now. Can't see us being beat.
Pickford to Phillips as a unit are unbelievable at shutting down teams. Germany had a few snapshot chances but that unit didn't let them get a real hold of the game all 90 mins.
Italy and Spain are favourites still I would think.
Great win mind.
England 9/4 Spain 3/1 Italy 4/1 Belgium 7/1
To reach the final
England 4/5 Spain 6/4 Italy 2/1 Belgium 3/1 Denmark 3/1

Well its not our fault this year - We won the Group so thats just a bitter argument from people. We should have a potential tie against Spain next but they didnt win their Group so we cant really control that
I think he's one of the least arrogant players I can think of. He plays with a smile, gets kicked for most of a match and just loves playing. I love him.

Did you just hear his interview?
Me, me, me, me, me.
Makes him a great footballer sure but he doesn't come across as anything but arrogant off it.
I still think we need to move the ball about a bit more quickly, and be prepared to play the passes between the lines or make that forward run rather than taking the simple sideways or backwards option (Germany were better at that today), but you can't really argue too much with what we've done so far.
Kane did well later on in the game by dropping back into our own half and helping to hold the ball up and relieve pressure when we got the ball away. Delighted he got his goal.

He didn't call out Kane when asked, he said H is doubled up on so its hard. I really didn't see any arrogance in him. He just answered what he was asked and smiled as usual. I really don't see him as arrogant

England are favourites with most now
That's based on the fact that we would be at home for the semis and final but, more to the point, because bookmakers will have bigger liabilities on us than on Italy and Spain
I have been as critical of our slow ponderous tactics as anyone but it is a fact that Croatia,Czechs, and the Germans have all looked a lot better, and a lot more threatening in every game that they have not played against England.
Maybe we are underestimating how hard we are to play against

Of course - the draw dictates that as much as anything.

So therefore they are favourites like I said. France were favourites before yesterday so why are we disputing favourites now?
Dont think we should underestimate Sweden or Ukraine though
Sweden managed to hold Spain so will be tight at the back and difficult to break down Ukraine on the other hand seem a mixed bag yet put two past Netherlands
Arrogant Dick? Couldn’t disagree more. Always comes across as a top bloke and he does so much for charity that goes unnoticed. His sister is heavily disabled and his little brother died, so he’s not had it that easy. Very level headed bloke.

Sweden.....should they go through.....are always a very well defensively organised team, not dynamic or known for classic football but dour and resolute. Normally difficult to break down.......so take it from me, the prospect of playing them in Rome is not to be taken lightly.

A potential semi final would be an 8pm kick off at Wembley on Wednesday 7 July.
The final which may not involve England will be at Wembley, kicking off at 8pm on Sunday 11 July.
