The great Lennie Lawrence spent 90 minutes visiting the Museum today. Great to see him and to remember his time at Charlton. He told us that of all the players he signed through his long managerial career three of the top five were at Charlton. Names please

Plus he resigned Flash, who was a very important part of that promotion team.
Edit Alan Dugdale was first...
@stig will have to update it now
One thing he spoke about was the very important part Jimmy Hill played in that promotion season when we left The Valley. His football knowledge was a great help to the club. He was disappointed that in Jimmy Hill's book there was not one mention of his time at Charlton.
Killer Hales , he had to be managed but he found a way. Talked about the Bolton match , last game of the season. How important it was to stay up that season. We won 4-1 sending Bolton down.
He also talked about Derek Ufton and what a lovely guy he was.
Leaving the Valley , he was told the night before the Palace game , where we were handed the leaflet. He told the players before the match.
