Must admit, it's pretty tin pot that we'll get no where near selling out our first away game (which is also not far out of London) in 18 months.
I’d love to go, but after weighing it up, I just simply can’t afford it at the moment. I’d imagine it’s the same for quite a few people.
I'm glad someone has said it. Away days, no matter how near or far, are an expensive hobby.
I'm going to Oxford and MK myself, but I certainly can't keep that up all season.
For Oxford: Travel there and back ~£50 Ticket £24 Lunch and dinner ~£30 Beers £?? (a lot if you do want them across the day out)
Obviously not all those costs are necessary. You can take a sandwich etc. if you want to and not have beers. But that is still pretty much £75 just to get there and watch the game. Which a lot of people can't afford, especially so soon after spending hundreds on a season ticket not very long ago, and if their jobs have been impacted by covid.
About to get my two later, will they arrive in time? Or pick up from the ground?
We ordered tickets on Friday and Monday. They arrived yesterday and today. That suggests tickets ordered today will be with you Friday. Mind you, we didn’t order ours late in the day.

My son has booked the coach for this one from Charlton, he doesn’t know where the coach will pick him up, any of you experienced travellers able to shed some light on this?
