And after Arsenal managed to get the NLD called off Leeds send a squad with half a dozen teenagers on the bench to West Ham, two of which have had to come on inside the first 25 minutes. One of them Lewis Bate, as mentioned elsewhere, was at Chelsea but moved to Leeds for £1.5m - he was in the same Beths school side as our Richard Chin and Euan Williams.
I really do hope that Leeds win because they could have used the same excuses as many PL clubs are doing at present but chose to play instead.
Two injuries during a game and you're whining they can't call it off? When are they going to do it, in the 20th minute?
I don't think that he is "moaning". The point is Leeds play their matches no matter how many players are out. Whereas other clubs look at their situation and choose not to use teenagers.

Maybe after having multiple games postponed last month and them still having loads of players out injured points to something they're doing wrong in training.

Not sure you read my post properly. They already have a ton of injuries, but have filled their bench with teenagers. Why couldn't the league make Arsenal do the same?
Pathetic that they're forced to put a 15 year old on the bench, and we're expected to believe a club of Arsenal's size can't find 15-16 players in the entire club.
FWIW i know this isn't Arsenal's fault, just seems ridiculous from the premier league. I completely agree with what Neville and Carragher said the other night.

They didn't have to, they are clearly making a statement that you're eating up. Archie Gray is the only player making his first appearance in a Leeds squad and he's 15. There are other older players available he's been chosen in front of.
They have more than 13 first-team players available that have been in multiple squads this season. Yes they have a lot of injuries but cry me a river.
They have 6 injuries and their squad has always been threadbare, this is why they get into the situation they are in.

They did apply to call off two games but could have done the same with the other half a dozen they did play if the criteria was that you don't count contracted teenagers. Arsenal will have dozens of those and would have been able to put out a side.
And it's not necessarily "something they're doing wrong in training". They just don't have the size of squads of established internationals that the likes of City, Chelsea, United, Liverpool, Arsenal etc etc enjoy.

You count teenagers if they have appearances in squads before. Leeds' youngsters have been in squads before because their squad is so thin. Arsenal's haven't.

Thin and not as big as the big 6. Chelsea have an England international on loan. Leeds have to bring on a teenager who has never played in the Premier League. So, once again, we are rewarding the clubs with all the established Premier League money. I bet you wouldn't be quite so understanding if Arsenal could call a game off and we had to play West Ham with seven teenagers on the bench who had ZERO PL starts between them!
The bigger question is how do Leeds still have 10 players out after playing only 3 games in the past month?
Maybe they should have addressed it in the 16 days of the january window so far.
Maybe just maybe they don't want to go the way of so many clubs like Derby for example - and have to cut their cloth accordingly. Maybe some of those are long term injuries too. They can't rush those back any more than we could do the same with JFC.

8 of their subs have a combined 1 premier league appearance between them.
How is it only 6 injuries? Bamford, Phillips, Llorente, Roberts, Gelhardt, Cooper, Shackleton, Cresswell, Poveda, Greenwood. That's 10 injuries and probably i've missed more

So they couldn't really say that the injuries were unforseen if they've been off for such a long time.
Bamford and others have been out since close to the start of the season for example. Do they call off every game from then onwards?
I agree the rule is garbage and never should have been in place. Liverpool calling a game off with false positive cases was the final nail in the coffin.

7 teenagers on the bench today at West Ham including one who is 15.
Then to make matters worse, 2 of their players have gone off with injuries in the first half meaning 2 of those teenagers are now playing.

Wonder if Newcastle wish they'd done it sooner
