I remember a game at the Valley towards the end of the 2012 season, where the RAF were practising patroling over London for the Olympics, and the ground got buzzed by a Typhoon that then whizzed off and chased a jet into Heathrow for the lols.

Think they're planning on returning to the U S of A and are being replaced by their 'new' F15EX planes which are an update on these 30 year old plus F15s.0
