Conflicting stuff on Twitter. That Heart Website doesn’t provide a date, so I am not sure. Other reports state a practice run for a fly by of White Hart Lane for the NFL game.
That would make sense, as wood green is just down the road from Spurs. Whatever it was, it was bloody loud!
    That would 100% be it

    any sonic boom action
    not heard anything in Epping
Do you remeber the one that flew over us on the way to Hereford mate. We were driving alongside a wood/forest and it came out of nowehere at low level. My mate had the sunroof open and it shit the life out of us.
we were walking along a cliff path once in Cornwall and out of nowhere this jet appeared at a very low level from nowhere and scared the crap out of us at the time.

It's when those bastard RAF C17s appear out of the trees at 200ft to practice their take off and landings whilst you're driving quietly down a Country B road that really shits the life out of you.

Was having a pint in the Jamaica Inn on Bodmin donkeys years ago when some RAF jest screamed past overhead. How the locals laughed when I dropped my pint and smashed it all over the floor.

Think they're planning on returning to the U S of A and are being replaced by their 'new' F15EX planes which are an update on these 30 year old plus F15s.
I just read that as Airfix planes, times must be hard.

    That is interesting .
When they first went over I said to my next door neighbour that I thought the jets were American and not British.
    Left hand drive?
No, the pilots had checked shorts, bum bags and big fuck off cameras.
Word of warning then, out there they call them "fanny packs"...

Cause fanny means your arse over there...

     ... not your minge.

Remember when I was about 4 years old mooching round the dinosaur section of Blackgang Chine on the Isle of Wight and a couple of jets come over about 15 foot up. It was a good job I wore nappies until quite late

Does it count as scrambled if the letters of each word are still in the same order?
And now I'm wondering if "je farts" would be valid french.

I was once near the top of a hill in the Lake District, when 2 RAF Tornados flew past. Several hundred feet below us, as they hugged the valley!

The bottles of Mateus in the car on the way home after the curry probably helped erase it too!

Just looked, and Ryan Air have now got an option on their website. Pay a tenner and you won't get shot down by the RAF from England
Shame it don't cover the US air force.

    No.

The V bombers were the Valiant, the Vulcan and the Victor.

    And the much underrated Vibrator.
It went where the others couldn't go.

I am always awe struck when these fighters come and go out of nowhere.
If one of those fuckers have you in their sites you are toast…..yes, absolutely awesome.
