  • I would have had 2 defensive mids for this game. 3 attacking mids leaves our defence exposed.
  • Huh flat 4-4-2 with Lee at RM..

    Like it.

    Could be 4-4-2 or 4-3-3/4-2-3-1.

I think a 4-4-2 is more likely, if so I'd expect:

                            CM

    Matthews Lavelle Famewo Purrington

           Leko Gilbey Dobson Lee

             Washington Stockley

Though Washington, Leko and Lee could be up front, on either wing or play behind Stockley.

Diamond seems unlikely with that 11 and clearly not 3/5 at the back.
  • Still no place for Lyle ??
  • Not really understanding that midfield. Who plays on the left?

    Leko? Cutting in I guess.

Lee isn't great out wide. I'd expect Gilbey on the left flank and Lee as the attacking midfielder in the middle in front of Dobson.
  • All the best Johnnie Jackson you have nothing to lose.
I still believe our owner has lost the plot and now it really starts to cost him money.
Unfortunately I can see nothing but a heavy defeat today.

I'd be surprised if Lee's playing CM.

Then gets stick from Brownie after the Interview for using "hair for men" :D

Curbs reckons it'll be Leko / Washington wide and Lee up with Jayden
  • Glad to see Dobson back in, know he’s not everyone’s cup of tea but he has energy, can break up play and will have a point to prove today.

Brownie and Curbs not sure either!
  • Still at least one to many offensive players imo.  A lot of responsibility on the back 5 and Dobson, almost all of whom have hardly covered themselves in glory this season.

This isn't a free hit, but it's understable that there won't be a massive change, Doncaster is the big one.

I hope Leko is on the right. Been much more dangerous that side.
  • Not watched many of these previews as I've been at most games, but were Brownie and Curbs this critical beforehand?

I definitely agree that our squad is too large
  • Gunter, Soare and Morgan all bombed out the squad. Can’t say I’m surprised.

Gunter will be back by Rotherham, with everyone saying its the right call.
  • Purrington straight back in... about time
  • Arter just misses out with minor hamstring complaint
