    Not so sure about that Midfield. Hope to be proven wrong.

    Come on the lads, got a good feeling today they'll perform, very rarely bet on football these days but had a cheeky bet at 19/4 for the win and 3-1 on the draw.

  • Good to see Bartlett on the zoom,.. now lets see those great goals v Man U and The goal of the season, looking good and fit B)
  • Bartlett in slightly better shape than Brownie  :D

    I think it'll be 442 with lee and Leko as wingers, Dobson and Gilbey midfield and the two upfront.

    I’m glad Dobson has been given a run out
  • Great banter between Curbs, Brown, Minto and Bartlett.

    If only the match is half as good!

    Could also be a pretty attacking diamond I guess...

    MacGillivray;
    Matthews, Lavelle, Famewo, Purrington;
    Dobson
    Gilbey - Lee
    Leko
    Washington Stockley

    Glad to see Dobson back in, know he’s not everyone’s cup of tea but he has energy, can break up play and will have a point to prove today.
    My concern is his judgement. If he misses any tackles, which he has done in the past, it leaves our back 4 really exposed with only him as defensive mid. There are no other tacklers in midfield.

    Thought similar but be surprised if Lee plays so deep

    Me too, but would like to see it... him feeding Leko playing just off of the front two would be exciting

    Ooof that "What you smiling at" from Curbs

    It was in jest over a past thing between him and Brownie, but still almost gave you a glimpse into what he could no doubt be like as a Manager in the dressing room

    Remember last time Jackson picked a team he had Millar on the side of a diamond.

    I really like Dobson but he’s not a great fit as part of a midfield 2.

    He’ll either have a blinder or crumble.
  • JJ needed to do something with the team - but unhappy that Matthews in the team against a team like Sunderland , as he just cant defend - lets hope we are on the front foot in the game as Matthews is fine going forward but most teams target him once the game starts.

    Love Shaun Bartlett!
    Will be interested to know what the next move, he eluded to, will be! Very Coy
  • In our teachers' 5-a-side game yesterday, I called our team Charlton and the opposition, Manchester United. Charlton came from 12-18 down to win 21-18. It's an omen, I tell you.

    Can’t work out the formation, Washington looks quite central but Lee and Gilbey are in the middle with Dobson in front of the back 4.

    A lopsided 4-3-3 perhaps?..
