Many of us are so lucky to have the best city in the world on our doorstep. No wonder people from all around the world visit it time and time again. Different class.
On a side note, glad the weather has been good. Would have made everything a lot more difficult had it been pissing down.
What a display this is. I know they keep fit, but King Charles has to be pretty tired by now - an incredible effort at 73.
I personally hope him and camellia can take a 3/4 week holiday outside the UK and just do nothing. Switch off for a bit. Spend the millions and take it easy.
The country needs Charles to be fully rested and fresh before for what lies ahead.
I live in Southampton and besides going to Charlton games, I always try to get up to the city for at least one weekend trip as love visiting and seeing some of the stuff I have multiple times before but its just so fantastic that ill always wanna see it again....truly is the best city in the world.
Ive always been proud to be British but today just pushes that up another notch.
Andrew sticking out like a sore thumb in his morning suit when the rest of the family are in their military togs. Notwithstanding the blindingly obvious fact that it is his mother’s funeral, he really looks as though he doesn’t want to be there.
It is slightly ironic that the 2 royals that served in an active war zone cant wear their uniform. They must both have high feelings I would imagine

Said exactly that to my Mrs,really think an exemption could've been made.
Flawless. The value of preparation and rehearsal. It may have been ten years in the planning, but to achieve the degree of living Theatre we have seen today and last week has been prepared within a maximum of ten days. That takes an awesome amount of work.
Astonishing numbers of people lining the route of the hearse. They're out on the A30 now and there's still hardly a gap on either side.
The big ceremonial procession was quite hypnotic. Couldn't take my eyes off it, even though it was basically the same people marching to the same tunes all the way. The bit that really got me, though, was before the service when they set off with the gun carriage for the first time, with the pipes playing. That seemed very personal, after she made pipe music a big feature of her husband's funeral.
Its been an emotional day...I and Mrs RM have shed a few tears....a wonderful lady has gone...and how well have we shown the world how to do things properly, with reverance and respect....yet also a celebration of her life. Wonderful ceremony timed to precision, pomp and circumstance at its very best.

ITV getting it bang on with their coverage
It wasn't a concert like overwhelming amount, but still a portion (few people) lost within a digital age. A tad soul destroying.
Why not just live in the moment?
