Harry Arter

Is he injured or not picked? Must be on a hefty wage to not be in the squad.

  • I have been wondering exactly the same.

i assumed that he would have been one of the first names on the team sheet, but no one has seen sight nor sound of him.

Wow, we’ve been seriously unlucky with injuries for a good few years now.

Arter sat near me at yesterday's game, he is out injured apparently

If he's not fit enough for the Ireland squad, then that might mean we have to play Burton without Washington and Gunter

Is this true? Jacko was considering recalling him for yesterday's match.....!

Will it? Is the kid (Ghandor?)  not now out on loan

I'd be happy to play the Burton match.....in fact I'd prefer it. Every time we have a break due to the Internationals we come back off form & sluggish.

If we happen to beat Rotherham & don't lose to H&W then surely we should just play Burton . That would be 3 league wins on the trot & the squad will be bouncing. Imo it would be madness if we dont.

Unless there’s an injury it’s unlikely, Zander Clark (St Johnstone) and Kelly of Motherwell have been the third and fourth/backups recently and both are currently fit so I’m guessing MacGillivray won’t make the back up list. Still another couple of rounds of fixtures before squads are announced so could change of course.

Looks to little to late.  A panic for something that was obviously needed in May, got a half fit solution on deadline day.

If, it's a big if, we can get him fit he will be an asset.   If we can't it's a resource that could be better used else where.

Think this is a loss. Puts himself about and was a better option than Watson. Feel bad for the lad.

  • Just want to nip any confusion in the bud here, that photo is from a game, football manager, so is very unlikely to be correct

So , is he training again or is he injured for the season ?
If JJ says he is fit, I believe him over a photo of a computer screen.

What's wrong with Adam Matthews now? Purrington was fine at the weekend

Haven’t read anything about Purrington but Matthews got a knock at Sunderland and is what kept him out of the Donny game.

If you can't tell that the picture is a screenshot from football manager then more fool you.

No big loss, don't understand why we brought him in anyway, Clare, Dobson, Gilbey, Lee, Morgan, Watson and in emergencies Dempsey on the bench is enough in Central Midfield, especially if Forster-Caskey is back in the new year too
