Hazlewood will miss the 3rd test, Cummins is back and Harris keeps his place despite being the biggest failure (so far) amongst the 'specialist batsmen' from either side .. Starc is also due to play
The England T20 side selected for the tour of the West Indies in January looks a stronger outfit than that selected for the Ashes lol ..
Squad: Eoin Morgan (Middlesex - captain), Moeen Ali (Worcestershire), Tom Banton (Somerset), Sam Billings (Kent), Liam Dawson (Hampshire), George Garton (Sussex), Chris Jordan (Surrey), Liam Livingstone (Lancashire), Saqib Mahmood (Lancashire), Tymal Mills (Sussex), David Payne (Gloucestershire), Adil Rashid (Yorkshire), Jason Roy (Surrey), Phil Salt (Lancashire), Reece Topley (Surrey), James Vince (Hampshire).
England are now a really strong white ball nation. We could field 2 really strong sides in the World Cup
So now that Michael Vaughan has been switched to cover the Big Bash, another former England captain and commentator is going to be part of the BT Ashes team - David Gower

Vaughan is actually covering both for his Aussie Network (Fox?) but BT have decided to remove him when he commentates, whereas Sky who show the Blast haven't!
Looks like Boland will play in the Test and Cummins will return to join Richardson, Lyon and Green with Hazlewood (still injured), Starc (a niggle) and Nesser (dropped) all missing out
Boland will become only the second indigenous Australian to play in a Test match - Gillespie was the first
Scott Boland makes his Aussie debut at age 32, following Michael Neser at age 31 .. interesting that Cummins and Starc are no spring chickens and as for Anderson and Broad ? .. Wood is a mere kid at age 31 (nearly 32)
Bugger! Rooty has obviously never heard of tails never fails! Most English wicket were gonna get got to make the most of it.
I was thinking that would be Hobart with the climate of Tasmania… no doubt Brisbane was the toughest but I would’ve hoped we’d make a fight of it in Adelaide.

Why doesn't he just stamp loser on his forehead
All out for under 200.
Test over within 3 days.
we can’t be shit forever
this is the win or draw that gets me to my 3-1 loss prediction
Is it too early to say Boland out?
