seriously, Thomas is a quirky geek but no sane person would come anywhere near our mingey fan base who are getting given free tickets left right and centre and getting bankrolled whilst there was a pandemic going on and he brought us from the hands of crooks, donated a Range Rover to our mingefest of supporters but no , he hasn’t donated his spleen yet so he’s up to no good …
do yourself a favour Thomas run to the hills and leave this freak show behind before you join us all in the nuthouse

You make it sound like you’ve never criticised or disliked a player, manager, owner based on what you’ve seen in the public. I’m pretty sure your being a hypocrite there.
It’s not also true to say the team is only there because of Sandgaard. This club is a community and there are many reasons the team is there like us fans (all of us) that part fund the club and travel and support each week, commercial sponsors, volunteers for the trust and outreach etc. Oh and the transfers funded by previous incomings.
I’d also add that I don’t hate Sandgaard, I try to hate a few as possible but I don’t like his style or many of the decisions he’s made. But of course he’s no Mouthall, Elliot or Roland and he’s done some good things. I could share some of what I’ve heard that’s less positive but why, you wouldn’t believe anyway.
What I’ve heard from a handful of fellow supporters, who each know people at the club and the common theme around the JJ situation is Thomas has lowballed the offer vs. JJ’s expectations in terms of wage and length of contract (burnt by the Adkins experience) I’ve shared that, take it for what you want.
We’ll see what happens in the next week or so. For what it’s worth I’m desperate for JJ to get the gig as he’s given us all hope in the season and the season following the turgid Adkins era.3 -

Spot on. The guy literally saved us from potential ruin, has spent a fortune, goes to games, attends fan meetings, engages with fans before/after games, including even going to the local pub after some matches and still some people give him stick.ValleyGary said:The anti-TS rhetoric I’m seeing lately across all social media platforms is really irritating. Some of our fans just need something to moan about. Rather than enjoy what is a good period in our recent history (albeit it in league 1), they have to find an agenda. It’s pretty pathetic really.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

Im eternally grateful to TS for all he has done. Doesn't mean he's above criticism though. Decisions he makes about our football Club will affect us for lot longer than him. Things like A2V and the women's team name are genuine concerns that people are allowed to raise. What bunch of fans aren't gonna get worked up about a managerial appointment?Chris_from_Sidcup said:

Nostradamus:
As Winter gathers, a great man from Camden will appear to give salvation and hope to many who have suffered greatly in a green valley where mist will visit from near by River. He will be appointed the special one to lead a disparate bunch of journeymen to great acclaim from masses of wretches, soiled with grime in every pore and who blasphemy rules ok.
There will be music and gaiety to replace despair and darkness. Light will shine on this man who will be know as JJ, the king of the valley.
A contest will take place, where leather is put in a net, and jumping from a tunnel will take place.
This crowning will happen on a Mardi gras on the 14th day of the last month, 2021 years after the boy Jesus and the mob will rejoice that a man from the east who went West to seek his fortune will in 2021 deliver this news that he, Thomas a traveling medical man will give his word that JJ will deliver good fortune to the destitute. A Miracle that a man who's legs had gone, will lead the long march to the land of milk and Honey.5 -
The way i see things:
TS is good, very very good for our club - he is involved and wants to enjoy owning us and mixing with the fans even if he is new and learning re football ownership.
He has made a mistake in listening too much to Roddy / giving him a role that he probably isn't best suited to. He was top of the tree and TS's eyes and ears. We have nearly ended up throwing the baby out with the bathwater - get the Jacko deal over the line and that will be on its way to being rectified albeit there are some other bits that need undoing. With Gallen and Jacko in control, I have full confidence and let Roddy specialise in the things he knows about. (Cat 1 status academy hopefully)
The other forum seem to have a vendetta against Sandgaard and i can only assume that is because the supremo over there feels snubbed in some way, i could be wrong but thats how i see it.
Airman and some others with a reasonably public voice will never be truly satisfied until Varney is back. Maybe things would be run better with him on board and maybe more / different investment he may be able to bring would accelerate where we want to get to but who knows - maybe not.
TS has put his money where his mouth is and is entitled to run things his way and had we not had the adkins scenario earlier in the season we would be on course.
All the other stuff - his song, the ladies stuff, his showman personality - all irrelevant to me and don't have a problem with any of it - i couldn't be less interested in womens football tbh.
Get the Jacko deal done asap please TS - if he doesn't get the job, things will tun sour very quickly unfortunately and give fuel to those who are forever waiting in the shadows thinking they know or could do better.

Playing Devil’s advocate for a minute, when does Thomas put his foot down with a take it or leave it offer here? If both sides wanted it done, it would’ve been done a while ago…
I’m sure he wants a permanent appointment in place ahead of the transfer window. Could he realistically consider other candidates if Jacko doesn’t sign soon?1 -
I have it on good authority that it is Jackson's agent pushing for a higher signing fee. The source is very likely biased in TS favour.
Jackson was allegedly all happy with what he was being offered, then the agent asked for more.1 -

When can we start criticising JJ for being greedy and pointing out that we have given him a great opportunity which he has rejected?
Irony alert for the hard of humour3 -
Thinking about that a bit more ( and tbh my thoughts on agents are similar to TS's ) if JJ was happy and the club were happy then I would tell JJ to tell his agent to do one or the deal is off, f88king parasites the lot of them3

This is now totally beyond a joke. Saturday, when at home with Thomas here, was the last perfect opportunity to confirm the permanent deal and show solidarity.
If Jackson is appointed and Sandgaard isn't alongside him it won't send out a great message given all the opportunity he's had to do so in the last 2 weeks or so.
It's ridiculous that it's gone on for so long. By dithering so much Sandgaard has weakened his own position whilst Jackson has strengthened his immensely.
I'm seriously fed up with this now as I suspect we all are.
I can't believe that Jackson is making unreasonable demands.
Whatever the case, Sandgaard has barely commented on the subject unfairly leaving Jackson to answer related questions on an almost daily basis.
There has been so much time to sort out any issues and something doesn't seem right. I hope I'm wrong.
