Think I'll cancel my trip to London, the game is off, COVID seems to be worryingly high down there as well. Oh well guys see you in the NY!

    Be brave boys and girls:

Don't despair, Michael Portillo's Great British train Journeys are being repeated.

Never looked at the stats on this but going by memory I actually do believe this is true. We certainly usually start & end seasons well & not often that good in December & January.

That's really disappointing but not surprising. Festive football is one of my favourite things, and it's fcked for another year.

Interesting again that injuries are being taken into account. I know it's been said before about squad numbers, but I wonder if there's a required ratio for Covid cases.
  • No surprise. The teams that had their Covid mass outbreak before us may be ok for midweek, whereas we had 3 cases last Friday and more this week. Indeed we may still be getting new cases
  • Gutted.

Hope the players have a lovely day with their families and stuff themselves on Christmas food. Then get back in training on Boxing Day.
  • Feel sorry for those who wanted the game to go ahead.

From a selfish point of view it works out well for me as wasnt going to be able to make it.
  • Hopefully Jayden is well, so he'll be able to make his special gravy

This must put the new years day game in doubt.

Injuries are taken account as you need 14 players who are fit to play, not just 14 warm bodies

    Prefer the Chris Tarrant offering.

    Agree, interesting history show.
I think Portillo may be colour blind with those jacket, trouser coordinations !

When he did one about the railway in Ireland, he had on  blue jacket, white shirt & red trousers.

This and the Boxing Day trip with my old man were the two things I was looking forward to most this Xmas.

Two years of this nonsense now. I’m really at my wits end with it.

    FFS.
