That's what I thought as well - I thought this was a pretty well known word? 

just noticed mine is routed via the NYTIMES website now rather than the old wordle site, so maybe the original wordle site has a different word at moment

on the globle game, I have played 8 times and have only just bloody noticed the arrow that tells you the direction to the correct answer !!!!

I had a word that I had never heard of. The Mrs said how have you not heard of this word. Turns out we had 2 different words.

I came out of the wordle site and went back in and now the url is nytimes and i got it in 1 🤣

Same here, asked my mates who I play with and they had a different word too. 

Seems there's some of us running on the old system and others on the NYT version.

I don't think so and the NYT changed the word today to a word that isn't obscure.
