A great fella who will do anything he can to help out a fellow Addick……as many on here will testify. One thing though Mick…….why didn’t you stick one on Southall when you had the chance? 😏 🥊
He’s a top bloke - back in 2017 when my Dad was being treated for cancer, we realised that he would not be able to get the train / walk from Charlton station to the ground - I was put in contact with Mick, and in the post the next day I received a car park pass - no charge, no questions, no hassle - sadly we only used it once as Dad passed away shortly after the first game of the 2017/18 season - but I was blown away by how caring Mick was, and eager to help a long time fan (since 1946) in his time of need so he could watch his beloved team
The best one I heard (that's public knowledge) was when MS sacked him not realising the saturday game couldn't go ahead without him. OB turning up and ME knew everyone of them was another classic.
I'm negotiating to upload the Southall ejection video onto the museum's new Youtube channel.
Maybe make that section pay to view : - )
Its been mentioned a few times that there were interviews with the new owners (possibly Paul Elliot) that didn't make the cold light of day - I'd imagine there are loads of reasons why they couldn't be uploaded, but they would surely be equally as amusing

Or the one where Matty boy accused Mick of wearing a fake Rolex
Genuinely one the best blokes you could work with. Just don't mention the Unity Cup, an experience never to be repeated! Congrats Mick, the book would not be short of chapters
Comments
his book would be dynamite

Bravo Mick and congratulations

I remember where it all started, I used to attend the meetings when you chaired the medway addicks
Onwards and upwards
Still a great loss to the club although he'll do bits as his health allows.
I will also go on to say what and absolute legend he has been. Thanks Mick
PS
Hopefully he can write a book about his time at CAFC
I really hope he enjoys every minute of putting his feet up.
Thanks Mick 🙏🏻♥️
Best wishes Mick.
