Showed strength, skill and determination. Followed by a cool finish and a joyful reaction from him
Can't deny any of that but if i was the Chesterfield manager i'd be fuming at the centre back who was so weak in the tackle that allowed Kanu to win it and go through.
He’s too good for league 2 - should have been a league 1 loan. Apparently can’t even be recalled and loaned up a league because he’s already played for us this season.
Silly for the sake of 30 mins in a cup we don’t even take seriously!
To me, he’s looked a bit short on confidence recently when he’s turned out for us.
I think there’s an argument that he less needs season that challenges him, and, because he’s been around our first team plenty already, more so needs a season that builds his confidence. If he can score a few more goals by playing at League 2 that might help him more, and he will still be learning.
Will be good enough. Bright lad. Will be our 'main man' in 24 months. Walsall lucky to have him. He will get 20 goals for them this year if staying healthy.
Win the ball and go on to score a goal like that and opposition managers will want to nullify the chances of it happening against them when they play Walsall. Like TC, he will have two defenders watching him closely now and up close and personal when he gets the ball.

I'd forgotten about that rule. Great for Walsall though, as it's unlikely we'd recall him to use him ourselves this season
Especially good for them considering what happened last season

He's a decent, hard working player.
Remember, football is also played first in the mind
It's not just ability with the ball, half of being a footballer is self confidence and belief
