Deja vu unfortunately. Oxford took better advantage of the opportunities we gave them but this could easily be 0-2 or 0-3 without a poor first touch here or a last ditch block there.

Again Matthews can’t be arsed defensively. Put DJ there second half imo.
Or just play with 10 men. Matthews is stealing a living.
  • Davison at least provided some presence. The club got cocky once they brought Aneke in who hadn't been injured for Brum but of course was going to for us.

    Another Davison assist
Davison is shit like the rest of them in a dog shit league 4😂😂
  • Why don't we sign players like Parrot, Wickham and Twine. We could play all night against no opposition and we still wouldn’t score.

Matthews playing like someone whose obituary had been written a bit hastily

  • HT.

    Same old same old.

Can someone explained what happened with the goal please? My connection is still buggered.
MK player outside the box, put a pass though two Charlton players and scorer run behind Matthews to score

  • Our final run of games are all against very good teams. We are going to be right in the shit.
  • HT 0-1
  • Matthews worse defender that has ever been at the club - 4 goals in 3 games down to him !!
  • This is becoming so fu*king repetitive Charlton, we are so/so first 20 minutes and the wow, one nil down, FFS WAKE UP, and show something of an attempt at playing for the shirt and your supporters, bloody hell this is getting sickening
  • Sponsored by DNEL isn't that @nth_london_addick?

    Fair play mate

Attacking wise we are constantly looking to switch the ball and attack down the flanks and whip balls in.
Problem being the wide players are not up to put in any ball of quality and even if they could there"s nobody in the box to with the quality and intelligence to get on the end of it.

    When will Jackson realise this?
  • In fairness we don't deserve to be behind.

Problem is we can play all night and I don't think we will score.

  • If I was Minto and Curbishley I’d have fucked off home as soon as the game started and left an empty studio for half time.

    Our defence is still buggered.
  • Milton Keynes are surely the highest passers in the Division.

We'll never play like that, because we'll never have the bloody patience in the stands for it!!

They've not panicked once all half.

Continue to keep it tight at the back, this Charlton side will leak chances... Is what I'd have been saying in the dressing room if I were their Manager!! (Shame for Charlton I'm not)
  • What an utterly beige game of football. We threatened in the way that a baby threatens a lion when it waves it rattle at it and shouts “goo goo”. They didn’t get out of third gear yet managed to conserve energy and score whilst giving the impression they have another couple of gears if they need them. Utterly depressing.  Please escort Matthews from the premises with orders never to return.
  • Only another 45 minutes to endure. Every cloud….

Thanks @ross1. Off to reboot the router now to see if that helps.
  • Curbs nail on the head. We are giving as good as we get until you get into both boxes.

We’ll score a goal with a bit of luck. MK Dons only have to play comfortably and wait for the chances to present themselves.

Burstow and Leko… or Parrott, Wickham and Twine. No contest.
  • Matthews just goes go sleep. You have to be alert ALL game. Can't switch off, especially when you are around your box.
  • Probably does not help that we don’t have our first choice strikers, or arguable our best playmaker on the pitch (Fraser), but again we are probably the better side, again we can’t make it count, and again we end up going a goal down.

I just don’t see how we can change this around with the players at our disposal (today at least).

  • Well it's much better than Saturday, and with more belief we could have even scored a couple. Matthews at fault for the goal and his four crosses have all been poor. He wastes his pace. Burstow is busting a gut to feed on scraps and could have scored from the defenders mistake. Castillo is finding it tough and Albie doesn't have any room. The others are just ok... We could get back into this but I can see a second going in and that will be that.
