Shine, a terribly bad time (as if there's ever a good time) of the year to get such news.
I can only hope that her time in the hospice is as good as it can be, and that you and the rest of your family are able to make the most of any time that remains.
Best wishes Shine. I lost my mum November 9th (respiratory failure/heart failure). But as you say, regretfully there becomes a point where it is the kindest thing for everyone. Take care & maybe gain strength from knowing we nearly all have to endure these very tough times and we all come through the other side.
Just had to inject myself for the last time, hopefully, following the completion of my chemotherapy last week, I'll get the scan results in January and then as soon as I know it's off to Tenerife for a break, best wishes to everyone on this thread.

Thought you people would like to share my good news. Have now been given the all clear from my bile duct cancer and Whipple surgery. Feel mighty relieved 13 months after going into Darent Valley for tests (stayed 5 weeks!), more scans the op at Kings in May. Chemo for 6 months from July to Jan then another CT scan, finally a PET scan to give the all clear. Just get tired and need to build myself up slowly, also getting taste back a bit more normally now off chemo.

Time for a deserved holiday for you both ?
