It’s interesting that, since losing their player of the season, Gilbey, to us, MK Dons have transformed into promotion contenders and we’ve become lower mid table rubbish. Suggest him winning POTY there is more a reflection of how poor their team was at the time than how good Gilbey was.
They finished 13th last season and I think have had two managers in three years. Also, didn't Gilbey win POTY in League Two?
