The current squad is nowhere near good enough to get out of this league, if as it appears we've failed to strengthen in key areas, predominantly up front, another season of League one football. Add to that the mess away from the playing side and yes, IMHO, we've on a downward spiral still, not up.ValleyGary said:

I fail to see how even the most optimistic can think we're progressing/ escaping this league under this owner. Going nowhere fast at best and backwards at best on and off the pitch and that's some achievement after the last decade of self destruction.
Just be honest and stop with the bullshit. It's insulting if he doesn't believe it but more worrying if he does.
Need to hope that Garner is the next David Moyes as currently feels like another also ran squad compared to the other promotion chasing clubs we're supposedly competing with.8 -
Even if we sign no one we're in a better state than we were last season.
With a back-up striker or centre back we're in a much better position.
