Thought would post a separate one just to see how the odds ebb and flow without being swallowed up within the main thread. Some interesting names

I read £7 Million, sounds more likely
  • I actually wouldn't have minded someone like Keane had we say sacked Bowyer with 15 games to go in the Championship. I'd like someone like Beale or Duff I think, young and hungry. Be more than happy with Warburton too. Almost zero chance of Dyche but he'd be my top pick, no harm in approaching him.
  • Ferguson would do for me, he did wonders for the :Posh
Not in the Championship  he didnt
  • Curbs 16/1

Apart from it wasting precious time.

He'll get a PL job next season, whoever is first to get sacked from the Palace, Bournemouth, Everton (if still up there) jobs.

Absolutely no chance was Dyche on over 200k a week

    Robbie Fowler!?
  • Curbs as director of football with a young man like Beale taking the training & picking the team.
Don't see the need for Curbs or similar as DoF - every time we go on a bad run there will be rumours he'll be taking over as caretaker.

I bet you a week of his wages he was on over 100k a week.
  • Dyche was on £4m a year

I’d still be surprised at that, I’d have guessed roughly the same as Rob7Lee above. 100k wouldn’t be totally shocking. I’ll get a tattoo of Dyche on my arse if he was on 11mil a year

I heard it from someone who would know at Burnley. I believe there was additional bonus levels on league position sabove 16th, but £4m was his 'basic'.

I’ll take you up on your bet then and we’ll call it about 4mil a season?

We including bonuses, pension contributions, benefits in kind, car, health insurance?
  • One last try ...

Sandgaard, you have now got it badly wrong twice.

    Adkins.

    Jackson.

The scientific interpretation would be that your process is wrong.

So ... before you get it wrong a third time (and just think of the cost that would involve) ... get your process right.

You do not have the background, or experience or the vision to make the right call.

    One last try ...

GET SOME PEOPLE AROUND YOU WHO KNOW FOOTBALL.

Not your son (despite his hard shot).

Not Ron Dangerfield (despite his bushy beard).

Not De Souza (despite his misspelled PowerPoint slides).

Ignore this at your peril.  But I will not bother again.  If you are that ignorant, and that arrogant ... well.  I'll leave it there.

    Apart from ...

GET SOME PEOPLE AROUND YOU WHO KNOW FOOTBALL.  BECAUSE YOU DO NOT.

Do you trust him to find the right people within football to get advice from?

    I have no idea.

But Step 1 would be for Sandgaard to realise the problem, and then to speak to others who might help him.

The problem is arrogance, not contacts.
  • But when Jackson won however many games as caretaker and pulled us from relegation to mid table what would you have done?

If you can prove them, by all means ;)
