    Annoyingly predictable. Good goal.
I’d like to see the handball incident that Morocco are complaining about. Funnily enough for Argentina that did everything they could to rule a goal out. Same doesn’t apply to Morocco it seems
We aren’t starting with the conspiracy theory nonsense again are we?!

Surprised they cant seemingly show us the Handball replay

Probably nothing in it, but they don't help themselves, especially as they've happily just shown Mbappe going down in the centre circle

I don’t think FIFA are rigging the competition for a particular final.

What it has felt like though is the bigger teams are getting the decisions (and that includes England against Ghana etc.)

If that was against Argentina I’m sure they’d have at least had a look. Whether they did for Morocco I don’t know.

No more than Morocco deserve. They have been shockingly bad.
I really thought that they would have given it a go.

Sitting back isn’t the way to beat this France side. Too much quality and they’ll always nick one.

Have to go at that back 4 and rattle them.

Telling that France have two players in the golden boot hunt now

In the PL I seem to recall that if the goalscorer handles the ball, the goal is disallowed by VAR, whereas if another player handles it, it isn't.

Exactly, was really looking forward to this. I can't see a way past France so might as well take the game to them. Morocco gave an (admittedly poor) Brazil a terrible time

A defence that includes Lucas Digne and William Saliba can't be that good, so definitely vulnerable.

Interested to see how France/Spain would play out.

Think France could murder them on the counter

I would be very confident that England can get  goals against France. It's keeping them out I'm not sure about.

I know there's been some goals but this is easily the worst game I've watched this WC.

Disappointing game. Expected much more from Morocco, couldn't have been more comfortable for France.

Keeper looks upset but is only one who looks like they’re bothered

    That felt like a friendly.

Hard to know if France are that good or Morocco were that bad.

Leaning towards the latter, but it’s indisputable that they have the best attack in the world.

Spain will be their first real test and I think they’ll get through it, unless that Mbappe injury plays up.

Mbappe didn’t look too injured at the end to me.

France are now 2.56 (roughly 6/4 in old money) to win the WC. Which makes them about 1.60 to beat, potentially, Spain in the semi and then 1.60 again to beat England in the final. Not much beat on the bone there especially as France have only beaten Spain twice in their last 10 meetings. History is riddled with the best team not winning major tournaments.

Morocco were completely toothless,  as shown by their xG of 0.14.

A really anaemic performance by them, hoping for the nil nil then with no Plan B when they went behind.
