You’ve got to look at the squad selection there. If only Belgium had been able to bring on Kaminski instead of Lammens9

Was hoping Belgium would be more a threat than they turned out to be, in the end it was a comfortable win for Spain.
Spain v France should be a slobberknocker though.0 -
Shame for Belgium. Would have liked to see them get through and if Courtois hadn't got injured it would have gone to extra time.1
-
Hope Spain bore themselves and France to death so they both decide they don't like football anymore and withdraw from the tournament.7

Game started brightly but was very pleased didnt have to suffer another 30 mins of the dross on offer in the second half once belgium subs were on2

It's the way he tuts and sighs before speaking, no we'd rather you weren't there either Wayne.ThreadKiller said:Listening to Rooney is hard work
No wonder his players would stop listening to him.

That's absolute nonsense though. Belgium had a superb gameplan and gave Spain WAY more of a scare than almost anyone expected. They absolutely had their chances too. It wasn't a comfortable win in any wayCAFCTrev said:Was hoping Belgium would be more a threat than they turned out to be, in the end it was a comfortable win for Spain.

Yes shame they didn't get through....I had them in a sweep stake.Athletico Charlton said:Shame for Belgium. Would have liked to see them get through and if Courtois hadn't got injured it would have gone to extra time.0 -
Spain and France are on a different level to most teams in this WC. In terms of entertainment and chaos they're probably not leading the way.

I always switch to the Radio 5 commentary via iPlayer. Shame I can't do the same for Matterface/Dixon tonight, they are dreadful!0 -

Think a game between us and Spain is very tight.2 -

This is going to age badly but I feel we are going to do it. Tuchel has got this right. He guides the ship with the small movements when they are needed. He doesn't over manage.2

lol strangely I’m also confident about victory tonight but I don’t see Rice and Bellingham both getting through without the fatal booking which scuppers our chances against the argies !!0

Very sad to die so young without having led a life.

How can you play in a World Cup and be dead a few weeks later at such a young age?2
