Enjoyed that - great game to watch
All three have been entertaining so far, albeit for different reasons.

Bit of a league 1 match this
Think there's going to be a lot of poor quality (but hopefully still entertaining) games in the group
    stages.

Like this one - was a good watch.

I’m not sure Olivier Giroud is pundit material…

That was entertaining in a lower championship end to end game.

On another note, BBC studio is embarrassing

So good to hear to hear a proper commentor, Steve Watson, and a good summariser Stephen Warnock. Commented on the game rather than wittering on about nothing.

Was wondering who that bloke was next to Micah Richards. Thought he was a competition winner or something. Ref expert apparently

Giroud is not a pundit.  Rooney is hopeless.  Such disappointing choices by the BBC.

There must be literally hundreds of ex footballers who would do a great job as a pundit (or even current ones like Coady).  But we get thickos like Rooney, no hopers like Giroud and on ITV the likes of Morrison and Neville.

You only have to listen to him to know he’s a ref.

Yes Steve Watson was good. Not trying to be too clever and coming out with so much crap, trying to show how much football he watches like Sam whatever his face.

I liked his quip when they were talking about how much travelling the two teams would be doing, and he said he had a feeling he would be at the tournament longer than both those teams  :D

So disappointing that there’s such a long gap between the games yesterday and today. Really doesn’t feel like the tournament is here yet.

They likely want the first US game to involve the US team but there was nothing stopping them having an extra game in Monterrey yesterday and in Vancouver today.

    Tomorrow the fun starts…

Paraguay look like a team that have never played football before.

Quite like the look of USA’s attack in fairness, however I can’t see them having this much joy against the better sides.

US look well up for it and have been generally impressive.

Paraguay look like the occasion has gotten to them.

Wow, wasn’t expecting much, but Paraguay performance is really poor.

I did not expect VAR “mistaken identity” rule to be used to overturn a yellow card and instead book an attacker for diving, but I do like it.

Fair to say I have absolutely no idea what VAR is in this tournament. Almiron wins a free kick for a clear dive and Ream is booked, instead of reviewing there and then they allow the free kick to be taken, leading to nothing and another break in play. They then review for ‘mistaken identity’ and bring it back to the free kick, reversing the booking for Ream and booking Almiron. I have no problem with that at all in principle, but surely once the free kick is taken that’s a whole new phase of play, what if Paraguay scored? Can you then go back and look at the free kick which should’ve been reviewed in the first place?

SoFi - home to the LA Rams and Chargers in the NFL. It’s great.
