He was absolutely rubbish on Saturday how some people marked him 5 or 6 I have no idea . I think the original assessment about him was spot on .

they marked him at 5 or 6 because that is their assessment, just a players marks vary so do referees which gets evened out with the number of marks given,  - each to their own

  • Terrible terrible terrible.
    The inconsistency was extraordinary.
    Back to the Vanarama mate.
  • Saw this was his 2nd ever league game he has done, the next maybe a long time coming!! Been watching football for 60+ years, and he is the worst I’ve ever seen.
  • Feel sorry for the teams in whatever game he gets next. He was absolutely abysmal. We've had some shocking refs but for me by far the worst this season.
  • Bell end.
  • Send him back to the national league, absolutely fucking useless. Don’t like having a go at the refs as it usually papers over how shit we were but he was probably the worst I’ve seen.
  • We were poor today, the ref was worse
  • Kanu got battered early doors and the ref deemed it not to be a foul. Thought it might be a long day after that.
Possibly the worst performance I’ve witnessed.
  • So let me get this right, 3 weeks ago this god awful referee today was officiating a game in the National League North?

This says a lot about the current situation in English football that we don’t have enough referees and good ones at that. The EFL are desperate so referees are being promoted up the leagues and in their levels far too quickly when they’re not good enough or ready. And I am also sure that so many don’t actually understand the game nor the laws of it and it’s just making the spectacle as a fan extremely poor.
