Another poor miss from Stockley after the one he missed last game.
Really needs to work on his finishing.
Yeah with his role in this team he has to take those headed chances. He's never going to be brilliant in the deck. So he needs to convert when we out balls in for him. He's 0/2 on that front. Great ball from Kirk, and a great ball from Albie last week.
When Ben Garner went to bed last night and dreamt of how today would go this probably wasn't how he saw it.
We've been appalling. And that's been our better moments.
The only Charlton player who's regularly been first to the ball is Wollakeeper. If it hadn't been for him we'd be four or five down already and Derby would have been in a position to declare. Even our goalpost has been sympathetic to us today, denying County a goal on the stroke of half time.
Our passing has been woeful. As soon as we try to go forward our passes are misdirected, overhit or underhit.
Apart from one chance that was well saved by their keeper just before half time we hint created a thing.
Any more of this it won't just be a long second half it's going to be a long season.
Started playing right at the end and then still have to get away with a let off at the end. Poor all over the park bar Wollacott. But somehow still even, got to credit the defence though we're too shakey and look nervous playing out from the back, hopefully we can calm down because we've seen signs that it can work.
How is it 0-0 Kirk has produced the one moment of quality for us. We have to better in possession Derby will be kicking themselves. They could be quite easily 4-0 up
I have to say that I’m very disappointed by O’Connell. Hoping it’s just a few jitters early on and he can settle down soon.
Late 20s and has played most of his career in the bottom half of League 1 or in League 2. Hopefully he improves but it always seemed unlikely to me that he would be some kind of undiscovered gem.
