Our players can't pass the ball 10 yards, my arse.
Need 4-4-2, two wingers and a big man little man combo up front. Get it forward and look for the early cross.
Nippy striker for the full house 8/10

3' An early stoppage. Thomas needs treatment after a tough challenge but eventually is able to continue

Poor turnout from the home fans. London derby as well. If I were TS I would wonder why I bother

It's hardly a surprise given the way last season went and our recent history of playing the U21s in this. Fans will need to see improvements on the pitch before they bother turning out for League Cup 1st round games...

Why is the Jimmy Seed full for a League Cup 1st round game? This is weird.
A club with a decent following

QPR have sold out the JS
That is mental, Tuesday night and a nothing game. Great support
No different from us playing away to a much bigger club to be fair
Having no London away day this season, we would probably have sold the maximum numbers tickets we were given if we played at Loftus Road today
We would have struggled to sell half of it on a Tuesday night, in a game where everyone was expecting us to play the kids

Looking good...Gilbey running it out of play, JFC holding onto the ball too long shows why some of our old guard are probably going to be moved on.

Oof Leaburn took too long to get that pass out of his feet otherwise he had a free shot at goal from 12 yards.

Lavelle for me looking a good RCB starter for the league.

Shame we couldn't name Pearce as a player to give Bonne some argy bargy.

23' Chance! Leaburn sees a shot well saved in the box, before JFC's rebound is blocked. #cafc 0 #qpr 0

Payne is a bit good isn't he? What on earth was he doing in League 2?

    What a ball by Payne!
  • Payne is some player.
  • QPR mate of mine at work has gone with his dad and brother. He was well excited about it earlier for some reason, asking me about what team I thought we'd play etc. I feel bad for not going now!

JFC takes some blame there Shirley? Two in front of him and he tried a scissor kick?

SSN, Charlton look the best at the moment
  • Watching a stream via BEIN Sports 1.

Looking good so far without creating too many clear cut chances.

The win at the weekend will have done wonders for morale throughout the club.

We need more lethal players in that final area than DJ, etc sadly. His approach is hit n hope.
