  • Shit ties so far
  • Stevenage get Villa away, a decent away game for them

    Oxford home to Arsenal
  • Come on.

    Beat Stockport and Walsall

We are in the final 16
  • Gills or Dagenham at home to Leicester is an obvious TV pick
  • Wednesday Vs Newcastle another TV pick
  • Golfie Jnr is pacing around the living room throwing his hands up in the air in frustration with all these all Premier League ties.
  • Come on.

    Beat Stockport and Walsall

We are in the final 16
We'd have to make round 5 to be in the last 16.
  • Hmm, us, Palace and Millwall all at home, plus London derby between Brentford and West Ham could mean some interesting scheduling for policing reasons.

  • Decent all round draw that, and not bad for us. Should get through if we beat Stockport (which I doubt we will)
  • Shut up

    I'm trying to be optimistic
  • We have to get past Stockport.

  • Lost the last 2 home FA Cup games v Walsall. 1987 and 2002

Palace and Millwall both playing fairly large sides too (Soton and Sheff Utd) who will bring a decent number of fans
  • TV games will almost certainly be:

    Man City v Chelsea
    Man U v Everton
    Oxford v Arsenal
    Sheff Weds v Newcastle

Not sure how many they show but probably Liverpool v Wolves as well.
  • Wembley beckons!

35 grand fee for being shown live.
Nice work if you can get it!

    Blur or Harry Styles?
  • Take our £50 grand from the TV for Stockport and bow out…

Behave. We're dithering along to a dull mid table finish. We just have to beat two teams in the league below to maybe get one shred of excitement
  • Could have been worse we could have ended up with playing the scum at the den.
  • Watching the draw with a World Cup game in the background is very surreal……..And yet we still get the shittest tie known to man.
Not a great tie but not bad really. Still a decent chance of getting through to the 4th round. Middlesbrough, Blackburn, Burnley etc away are all dreadful draws

We should be concentrating on the league rather than worrying about the cup

Possibly over 200,000 for getting a tie against Walsall in the 3rd round

Over £200,000 in prize and Tv money for Charlton or Stockport if either side can beat Walsall in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup.

    35,000 - Tv fee - 2nd Round Replay

    67,000 - 2nd Round Winners

    105,000 - 3rd Round Winners

  • We could get to the final and still not be on the telly. (ITV4 doesn't count)

And spend about 50p of that on players in January

More than likely, but the purpose of my post was to highlight how much money can be made from a good FA Cup run. Already 41,000 in the bank after winning in Round One.

Some clubs would dream of making money like that.
