    The Dutch finished normal time on top and on a high, then did nothing in extra time. They got what they deserved

    Cracking tension game. Despite hating them I’m quite pleased the Argies are through. Would basically just be a Euros without some late South American interest.

    I think that Croatia will fancy their chances against Argentina, who aren't as good as Brazil.

    They had extra time on Monday as well.  Argentina had had an extra two days off, before today.

    Many European sides are well down in support due to the human rights issues and disgruntlement over Qatar.

    probably the closest would be the wc final in 2010 i'm afraid with the Netherlands involved as well... 13 yellows and a red (technically 14 yellows i guess as the red was for 2 yellows)
