    There has been 3 absolute shockers in this WC. 
    Spain earlier today, Italian defender and that bizarre pass back in a crowded area.

    Disagree. Looks like they are up for the fight and can give as good as they get. Japan v Sweden/USA should be a good one.

    Norway were a pretty big and horrible bunch of bruisers. Granted, Sweden/USA will be slightly more so

    Japan weren't at their best today but still had enough to beat a sluggish Norway.
    It will be interesting to see how they manage to play against strong physical sides like the USA or Sweden next.

    The Netherlands ease past South Africa 2-0 to set up a quarter final with Spain.

    South Africa were unlucky with two players getting ankle injuries but the Dutch had too much for them. Feel sorry for SA keeper who had a good tournament but made a poor error for the 2nd goal.
    The Netherlands have a top keeper in Van Domselaar who has just joined Villa.

    Sweden v USA is a heavy weight contest with power teams going head to head.
    I want Sweden to win but I think the USA will use the criticism to motivate and they will surely defend the Crosses better than most opponents of the Swedes.

    USA for me but Sweden who are 3rd rated in the World play the current Champions and Num 1 and is a 50/50 contest.

    Big game for a last 16 match.

    Can't call this one but hope the Swedes win. I think the US team will get stronger as the tournament progresses so it would be good to kick them out now.

    Andersson who just got an elbow in the nose has a wand of a left foot and is so accurate with her corners.

    Swedes seem to me to have the plan of hanging on and riding their luck. It could work as USA look a better side but seem to be lacking confidence in front of goal.
