  • We take it short, cut back to Morgan, whose ball into the box is cleared for another corner. Henry takes that but it goes straight to their keeper
  • This game could end up a 5-5 the way it is going...

got to say that did first one looks miles offside

    missed the second one!
What, no VAR in the pizza cup?
  • Nice bit of passing play from us there, but it ends up with us losing the ball up on the left and then Chin being penalised for his attempt to get it back.
  • Both teams struggling defensively.

We've had 4-4 and 3-3 this season, this looks like another goalfest
  • How do the teams compare?
Is this a full strength Plymouth squad, vs our extremely inexperienced?

Plymouth forward again, Deji manages to intercept, and now we're passing it about the back, which I'm really not enjoying
Garnerball (Which is fast becoming a very annoying term) in full flow
A fluid passing game is Garnerball.
  • By the way aliwibble, when I like your comments, it is for the information and not the content ... unless we score again 🤣
  • Oh blimey, this time Harness gives it away in our area, but luckily we manage to clear it away at the second attempt.

Can we get a defensive specialist coach please.
Isn't our assistant manager an ex center half?

  • ref gives them a free kick in the centre circle not sure what for
  • I see Chin is playing left back. Don't we have any left backs in the reserves either?
  • very strange free kicks given by this ref, that was for handball, didn't look convincing
  • Erk, Plymouth player manages to bamboozle Chin, runs into the box and his shot's deflected for a corner.
  • Chinn is like a gymnast trying to play football
  • Is Jacob Roddy fit yet?

Corner flicked on, Plymouth player lurking at the far corner of the 6 yard box (unmarked!) mistimimes his shot and it's out for our throw.
  • I'm not sure too many of our defence are going to be in first team contention soon.
  • Somehow it's only 2-1

To be fair he did well to keep the ball whilst doing a few summersaults down the wing
  • Erk, we're under loads of pressure now. Another cross into the box that whizzes past their man, but the ball back in from the other side is collected by Harness.
  • Plymouth come down our right, but Harness is able to drop safely onto the low cross.
  • Sounds like Tel's commentating on the snooker again

Argyle have made 8 changes, according to the Plymouth local rag - and like us, they've got a lengthening injury list.

But they have started with a handful of regular key 1st team players as a nucleus (more than Charlton have), with the remainder made up by their U21s, like us.

They've rested lots of players as well. I think their side and especially bench are a bit stronger though

    Do we need snookers yet?

Chin is so right footed. It is just unfair on him to keep playing him at left back.
  • JFC forward to Kanu who cuts back and passes inside to Payne, who's distance shot is not especially powerful and wide anyway.
  • JFC dumps one of their players to the floor about 20 yards out and they have a free kick
