Me thinks Banton might decide that red ball cricket isn't for him. Spends three days watching the rain and the top six bat, denied the gloves and having to field for the duration of the final day.

To put that in perspective, only Compton of our squad has faced more balls. Middx are 127-3 - unfortunaely, Cracknell is the one out and not Robson. Higgins joins him and Middx are 68 runs behind.

In other news, Mitch Claydon, our former stalwart, has been elevated to State Umpire for New South Wales. The irony is that he had his own disciplinary issues including being suspended just three years ago when playing for Sussex for nine games for tampering with the ball.
