I think I’m right in saying that he’s always remained interested but only if he could purchase the football club along with the freeholds ? Now it seems Duchatelet is willing to sell The Valley and Sparrows albeit through his son doing the negotiating, could it be Andrew Barclay working alongside Peter Varney again ? Would seem to me that he might be the obvious buyer ?
If the Belgians have dropped the price tag then it seems quite possible.
Could people possibly tell us who it is definitely not?
That shouldn't do any harm to who it actually is.
Dave from Dover won't touch it with a barge pole.
And Ed from Eltham says he needs to speak to his missus first...5 -

My main concern is we end up with sensible owners who have some sort of coherent strategy.
Not good enough to be flirting with relegation to L2.

Bid still on the table2 -
If it’s Barclay then we might be in for an interesting ride, following him on Twitter he certainly has some… interesting views.3

She tried to deflect the majority of the abuse and only feed back the positives. Presumably she has run out of things to tell him

Maybe it’s true, but here, out in ‘public’ as it were, all we have is unsubstantiated rumour, something we’re well used to, it would be more fun at least if we had something more, even if cryptic or in code.
Actually I have heard something, all I can say is:

On the plus side, my kids are getting really excited now, as only two more Charlton managers until Christmas.47

It’s doubtful he ever sees or has a true handle on what the mood across social media is, although I’m sure he’s aware now.
My boss spoke to him when we got rid of JJ
stayed on the phone for 5 minutes or so.

Scoham said:Why would Varney push for fans to go to the Brighton game if a takeover is done other than EFL approval? That suggests it could be announced before that game in which case the buyer is already convinced. Or there’s more than one possible buyer?3

I’m hoping the ex Prem player tabling a bid is not what @Soundas£ has been telling us.3

Would be good if there was a Curbs-sortium
A group of home grown investors who rely on curbs being the front man.
They know they would eventually generate a profitable income...eventually0 -

I'm getting really confused as to which thread is the new takeover one as there's snippets of info going in about 3 or 4 of them at the moment.
Who's going to start a new all inclusive 'Possible Takeover 2022' thread?3 -

Would want a full 100% takeover , no TS keeping 10% and a seat at the table. Hopefully any interested parties would deny this , want a clean slate and a completely fresh start.13

Takeover Thread unleashed to the public so let’s take that chatter to there and retain this one in relation to the Brighton rally cry, cheers7
