No sane multi millionaire is going to touch us purely on the fact that 15years ago we used to be good and used to get a few through the gate.
I've said many times, the demographics of this football club have changed considerably over the years. League standing.Fan base location., Fan base age are the main few.
I think at one time there was a chance to steer us to a good place but that has long since past. Crackpots and experiments are about as good as it's going to get for us nowadays.1 -

Sounds like another circus to me.0

This isn’t a dig at Varney, more an observation that he could be responsible for managing to convince a few thousand more individuals to come to the Brighton game than would’ve done, only to potentially see us get the biggest pasting we’ve had in a while if his contacts have fallen out the picture 😂
I know the game has since taken on more context however in that fans can show their displeasure at TS0 -

2 points from @DOUCHER's post.
First, surely if "the crowd " would be likely to turn on TS , then some co-ordination of vocal protests would be necessary ? Otherwise, however poorly the lads might be playing, it's likely to be spasmodic & inevitably drowned out by the Seagulls' hordes cheering on their team to double figures...
Second, are you sure that our owner will be at the match ? In his absence, any form of protest would prove to be less effective IMO. Our fans are more likely to walk out should a heavy defeat be on the cards.1 -

So is this turning from a game where we were trying to show PV’s interested buyer that the attendances/support can improve under new ownership to a Sandgaard Out protest?0

I can see this being a very good way out for TS, he gets either a tiny stake in Right to Dream, or first dibs on a share in a US based project with them, that soothes his ego and gives him something to brag about (I bought a small football team in England and leveraged that into a stake in one of the largest/best football academies in the world, blah blah blah)
I don't necessarily have a problem with a network, I always though RD's problem wasn't with the network idea, but the brain dead way he implemented it. Eventually there will be fewer professional clubs in this country, it's been clear for a very long time the current situation isn't sustainable. When it happens those that are left will fall into 2 categories, international power house brands who probably own networks, and everybody else who is probably part of a network of some sort. Truly independent successful clubs will definitely be in the minority, if such a thing exists in 20 years.3 - Sponsored links:

I know I'm cynical but I fear we could get a new owner who allows TS to have some ownership. Then we have both RD and TS here. Stuff of nightmares.

Travelling, sitting in the cold bored shitless watching a team I have zero affliation with has no draw at all.If the weather is shit my ticket will probably go unused.
I’m done with paying a penny to any regime until real change comes.
Real danger for CAFC is apathy and the fact even old fans like me have had enough.
We can’t influence the club, other than through protest or simply not bothering.

Varney has no means to do anything other than introductions.
So let’s say he has a potential “buyer” or “investors” and he introduces to TS and/or RD - what then?
Varney is a true CAFC fan and his motives are superb, but the problem he has is that the “sellers” [in this case are TS and/or RD] have no interest in CAFC and are irrational.
Unless TS is forced to do something, he would rather see the club go down and same applies to RD.
Finally, who would trust either TS and/or RD to do anything in the real interests of our club? These guys are multi millionaires with big egos, who are also idiotic at the same time.
Sadly, as I have predicted for months, we will decline further under these clowns and support will ebb away through apathy. Fans have really had enough.
I fear for the future of our club and Varney has been on the fringes of finding a solution for years - I am not being critical of him - hats off for doing what he does, but I doubt he has any serious backers/buyers who will spend the kind of money the TS/RD circus will demand to sell the club they have been busy destroying since they took over.
Needs huge protests to get TS/RD to sell out and give the club a chance to rebuild before it’s too late.
Question then is ….which sensible buyer will come in ??
Time to pray !!

And next…none of the rumoured buyers fill me with any confidence.

PV would presumably get paid by the new owners if a deal went through - why else would he do all this running around?
Unless he wants a job of course?
Best ask him, or his people !0
