We haven't got any money so Bonne is the best we're going to get.

Tbf the fans mocked him first. Couldn't care less if he put up an Instagram post mocking us.J BLOCK said:
One that also mocks the club. That's the bargain basement pool of players we're fishing in unfortunately.Chunes said:He's a poor footballer replacing a poor footballer. Whoop de fecking doo.4 -
Ferguson, the bid (i wouldn't go as far as a fee) was accepted and personal terms agreed, either a change of heart from the relatively new gaffa (at their end) or an injury crisis stopped it.SELR_addicks said:"Sources have also told this site on 31 December last year that Charlton have submitted a bid for Rotherham United midfielder Shane Ferguson, 31.Watford centre-back Mattie Pollock is, as revealed by Football Insider on Wednesday (11 January), also on their radar."
Wouldn't surprise me if this one comes back later in the window, even if we sign the Blackburn, or Palace left back.
I don't know about Pollock other than I hope he got his mother's looks.2 -
Only because striker deal fell through last week .. he coming in to replace Stockley ..jondon76 said:We haven't got any money so Bonne is the best we're going to get.1 -

Head turner.1 -
That's fine. Footballers can and should be able to give it back sometimes. But if you're going to give it to the fans of a club you plan on joining a few months later, you must be an absolute moron.KentishAddick said:2 -
So 3 signings lined up … personally think Bonne is a very good signing12

Presumably if true the benefit to us in signing to end of season is that it doesn’t restrict loan signings? That would suggest others on the way?0

I don't think Boone is a bad addition. Tried his best with us and at least he was there unlike that c*nt Taylor.
I know a lot of fans were against him when he looked like signing for us again last year and i couldn't quite understand why. After that he gave it a bit online but I just thought some need to grow thicker skin5 -
We will get 2 duds for the price of 1.North Lower Neil said:If we signed Bonne and Wickham on frees and sold Stockley, what would people think of it?6 -
Still very "meh" regarding Bonne. Didn't rate his first time of asking but he scored a number of goals for Ipswich last season so he can't be as bad as Parker, Hemed,Schwartz and all the rest of the non-scoring strikers we seem to sign.
He is quicker than both Stockley &, dare I say it, Leaburn. If its only a deal until the summer then that's just about bearable.
But......I will have to say my faith in Scott etc being the messiah is now pretty low. As someone earlier said, are they/Gallen just rehashing the last transfer window.12 -
Rotherham are after Leo Hjelde a young left back from Leeds.Cafc43v3r said:

Kane, right back
Adaramola, left back
Ferguson, left back
Edun, left back
It's fairly obvious this is the list that Gallen has supplied for players potentially available across the leagues at fullback. It's all about which one is top of the list and which one we actually get now really.
I'd imagine Edun is first choice, Adaramola is the cheap option on loan, Ferguson is the get on loan maybe sign on a free in the summer option, and Kane is a choice for right back and keeping Sess at left back instead, possibly the "last resort"0 -

I really don’t rate Bonne but at the moment he probably is a better option off the bench than Stockley. Plus the type of player he is, Holden may be able to get something out of him.5

How fit would Bonne be - he looked heavy playing for QPR at the beginning of the season when he played us ?0

I'd bet good money he's gonna be fitter than Anekebillysboots said:How fit would Bonne be - he looked heavy playing for QPR at the beginning of the season when he played us ?29 -
Put him next to Leaburn and that would be an uninspiring but probably functional variation on the big guy/little guy pairing of old. It won't get us out of the division upwards but chances are it wouldn't get us out of the division downward either which at this point sadly appears qualify as success.ValleyGary said:I really don’t rate Bonne but at the moment he probably is a better option off the bench than Stockley. The only way Bonne will be a bad signing is if turns out he is a replacement for Leaburn

Bonne will be fitter than Chuks and def quicker than Stockers, so will do a job for us till the end of the season, we are mid league one not Championship remember...5

What was everybody expecting?!
We have no money
Airman has said what the club has put out are looking for / willing to finance
It'll be some dead wood out
Others' unwanted / not playing (or not playing often) choices in
We'll be stronger than Jan 1st
That is all0 -
Nobody said he was at sparrows lane though did they?Dazzler21 said:0 -
fitting to have him as part of this worst ever period in our footballing history3
