I missed out . Gutted . If anyone has two spares would be great . 👍
Same here was stuck in a workshop with SMT so I didn't get a chance to log on!
No worries Daz, me, you and BBW will be watching on the IPTV app and in bed asleep before the coaches leave Old Trafford.

    .
  • My take on it is this (and will get highly criticised for it).

You can't really complain that you couldn't get a ticket when we had over 7000. You can't be that much of a supporter if it went on general sale & you still couldn't get one. I don't expect everyone to be a ST holder, but thems the breaks if you decide you dont want to pay up front & then when we draw a big club want to be at the front of the queue for a ticket. The points system even takes into account if you've bought home & away tickets on a match by match basis, over a 2 year period. You would only need to go to 10-15 matches over that time to be in the last tranche. Why should you only go to a few games a season but think you should get a ticket for Man U.

     You takes your chances.
It's a bit similar to the moaning from people who couldn't get away tickets for local games like Millwall and Wimbledon, when they hadn't been to any other away games, and thus didn't have enough points.
  • Just about got my ticket post 2pm after pressing F5 a million times. I think any method used will always get some critique given the demand but I had to wait till general sale, i'd had a season ticket for 23 years, and only stoppd in 2021 due to my father's ill health and growing family commitments. But I was happy to wait, I do feel like a lapsed supporter so just kept my fingers crossed!
  • Looking for 2 spares myself.

Largest away sale since 1994 (which at 10,500 was the biggest ticketed in the club’s history excluding neutral grounds AFAIK).
Didn't we take 8k plus to Middlesbrough in the cup quarters in 2004 ish
    Operation Riverside 😎

cracking atmosphere that night but it didn’t end well and the journey home was a painful one

Similar situation myself. My dad has also been Ill for the last 3 to 4 years.
I ain't moaning about not getting a ticket cos even if I had the points (have about 40) I wouldn't be able to get to Manchester. Had a season ticket for over 20 years, though admitingly it was from the early 90s onwards. This season I've been to 3 games same as last season. Watched a number of matches via Charlton TV.

I don't begrudge those who got tickets.

Small tweaks I would've made, they could've merged some of the earlier priority groups together and added an extra group (50 points?) as one last opportunity for folks who had only got to a handful of games, before going to general sale.

Otherwise, I think overall, the club employees have done a decent job managing this in the obviously difficult circumstances.
  • Does anyone know when Peterborough away will go on sale? Only a little over 2 weeks away and I’ve not seen anything about it yet?

  • Just asked the Fanadvisor to ask for early opening of the box office on Saturday or staying open after the game, think it might help. Dunno.

Minded to agree but let’s get our hands on the tickets first!

Do we know if the club have received the tickets from Manchester United and actually posted any out yet ?
I’ve asked a couple of times on here already with no reply so I presume nobody knows . If they haven’t started sending them out already for people who can’t get to The Valley before hand , I think there could be big problems.

  • There you  go …
So have they’ve already received the first batch of tickets? If so where are they?

You can collect them from … Saturday. Recipe for chaos.
  • I can't get a refund on my hospitality Man U tickets so I'll just sit on my hands when we win!!!
  • They’re going to have to put a lot more coaches on surely. I can’t believe they’re charging people to park at The Valley.

I'm surprised that they are paper tickets. Nearly everything these days is sent by email.

My mate just called the ticket office and was told more tickets to go on sale tomorrow. He's a busy cnut so ive no reason to not believe him.

I think we were laughing at the description of your mate

I wouldn’t be confident in the postal system at present so there’s a fair chance of a few hundred being in your prediction.

Collection on Saturday depending how many people have chosen that option will be interesting.  Be there early would be a good shout
