If there was any doubt a local ref should visit ghe day before, then there should be a 10am inspection on the day, with a final one about midday if there was a chance it could have improved enough to play. But unless the weather worsens greatly just before or after kickoff, no game should really be called off so close to kickoff.

It's obviously cold, but I'm a bit surprised the temperature has dropped enough to freeze the pitch if it's been covered enough?

the way we’ve been playing they could all go to a night club tomorrow night and piss it up until 3am Saturday and still win it in the last 10 minutes
