OK, so the real crime here is not finding a new venue. We've got a garden in Herts. We've got a local park where someone walked their dog. I know a couple of parks in Norwich that get some sun so should be fine. WHY DIDN'T THE POSH THINK OF THIS SOONER?!?!?!
I tend to have a look at the grass on match days when it is cold and get an idea from there. Look I accept if there is no sun it will be frozen. The proof of that is the picture of them training on the Sunny bit. It does beg the question based on their comms whether they just assumed it would go ahead and didn't do the necessary work but the bottom line is Posh have cost fans money, including their own and this should have been handled better. The EFL needs to learn from this and fans need to be compensated by Posh.
Is the gobby twat who owns Posh still on Twitter? If so I have a number of observations to make to him.
While I’m at it I will accuse him of being behind the Fraser tweets midweek. I’ve no proof of that, but he’s a gobby twat, so If you live by the sword…
Charlton fans need to make a point. Boycotting the game when it is played would teach Peterborough a lesson.
That would punish our players with no support wouldn't be a great atmosphere, and our away support does make a lot of difference to the team, but understand the sentiment at the same time

The green out the front of ours in sunny Reigate is nice and moist and I can run the Flymo over it in 20 minutes -
A good gesture would be for Peterborough to refund at least half the ticket price to those that go to the re-arranged game as they will have to refund all of it to those that don't. Everybody with a ticket will have got to Peterborough and would be out of pocket. I think our club should suggest this publicly to them.

The only problem with that is we have already paid for our tickets which will be valid on whichever Tuesday night that McAnthony believes we wont show. Given that we were taking 1500 we probably were taking more than their home gate. Having not had an earlier inspection and calling it off so late, Peterborough should be penalised by losing home advantage with the rearranged match being played at the Valley

I'm in Herts. It has been really sunny which has thawed out the grass. Not that far from Peterborough.
Different with a stadium where parts of the pitch are in the shade.
I accept that. But then they should have warned and done an earlier inspection. The don't need the match ref to do that. Not said the game was not in doubt, which they did.

And I'll just say that our back garden here in Springfield, OR is a little muddy, but they could still play on it.

Our Comms and visiting journalists like Louis would only see the pitch for themselves when they arrive.
So we're up to, what, six venues now?
