We are so missing Leaburn here, Bonne just isn't up to holding the ball up, and looks isolated up top..with no idea what to do with his back to the goal, if he gets a chance he is off side..
The worst thing is... Aneke doesnt appear up to it either

Play them together. 4-4-2 as Morgan may as well not be there.
Oh get up McGoldrick... Goes through with only Hector / Clare chasing him - Gets bodied off the ball lightly by Clare, so goes down as light as a feather to try and force the second booking!!
41' #DCFC 1-0 #CAFCForsyth meets a corner to head at goal but the keeper holds on.
There's a clash of heads in the process, with both the skipper and Charlton's Clare requiring treatme
These lot are, laughably, one of the teams we’re being told we are good enough to catch. And they’re only 5th and a chunk of points worse off than the automatic promotion contenders. They’re not one of the very best teams in the division, but they’re miles better than us.
Watching us try to pass out against a side like this that is even halfway organized and able to press us is embarrassing.
And I hate to single people out, but having Bonne as a lone striker ties one hand behind our back as there is absolutely no way we can try to go long and hold the ball up. It makes us slow and predictable and easy to nullify and then we are too open and disorganized on the turnover. And we have the mental fortitude of an over tired 3 year old.
We’re a really really mediocre team. That’s not good but it is what is. What I find frustrating about it is we pretend like we’re actually a good team. We claim there’s “not much between the two teams” and someone like Fraser is “one of the best in the league”. We’re way off the required standard to get out of this shit tip of a division and our delusions of grandeur are holding us back because we are too proud to cut our cloth and be an ugly awkward bastard of a team. Instead we aren’t good enough to outplay teams or organized and comitted enough to be hard to beat.
No one is worried about playing us expecting a tough afternoon.
My highlight so far has been reporting my girlfriend missing to the stadium safeguarding officer, getting to the point of a tannoy announcement, then checking the seats on our actual tickets at his suggestion and finding her there. Missed a good 15 minutes of the game at least
If we hadn’t given away our normal gift of a goal, with how we’ve grown into the game, it would have been a decent enough half against a very good team.

Too many of our players ball skills not good enough.

Delay in match because of an injury Sean Clare (Charlton Athletic).
