Who cares ? Yes it’s stupid , but it’s a job for them .4

I care, and I'm annoyed one of ours done this.wmcf123 said:Who cares ? Yes it’s stupid , but it’s a job for them .
I'm still fuming about yesterday.3 -
Got to say that I've seen some poor posts in my time on here, and might even be responsible for a few myself but the overreaction to Nathan Asiimwe's post is ridiculous. None of you know the intent or meaning of the post, some of you are accusing him of disloyalty because it's Palace, as someone pointed out he probably knows a few players or staff at Palace also we've had players who supported our local rivals, Alfie Doughty being one. If I have a criticism, it's don't use click bait social media as its more trouble than its worth. On the Palace winning the FA Cup subject, good luck to them, rather them than a club that has been cheating for the last ten years or more with their financial affairs within the league.14

I agree, this comes over as the nasty denouncing of anyone that does not fit in exactly with someone's personal views and is all too common on social media.Bailey said:Got to say that I've seen some poor posts in my time on here, and might even be responsible for a few myself but the overreaction to Nathan Asiimwe's post is ridiculous. You do realise they have been in administration, failing in the process to pay their creditors and thus benefitted from it? That’s financial irregularity in my view.Bailey said:Got to say that I've seen some poor posts in my time on here, and might even be responsible for a few myself but the overreaction to Nathan Asiimwe's post is ridiculous. And that could have been us Large. I take your point that financial irregularity is financial irregularity but the degrees to which it affects others in the pyramid is surely far more influenced by Man City inflating both transfer fees and wages, which other clubs have had no choice but which to follow, Palace, I would argue, affected, as you rightly point out, their creditors. But it's away from the subject a little bit, I just think Nathan is young, doesn't see anything wrong with declaring his faith, if that is what he's doing, on social media or his liking for the people at Palace, I just think we should cut him some slack really.LargeAddick said:

It's a complete fuss about nothing, and smacks of bullying to me. Nobody hates Palace more than me, so if you've got something to say to them, say it to them. Don't pick on one of ours who has been a credit to our academy while out on loan (and had to live in Birmingham), and who wasn't even born the last time we beat them in the league.37

This thread took a big u turn he's gone from putting in a nice cross to being lambasted at posting about his team and the man on the cross.2

Sums it up really, close the thread and move on please.PragueAddick said:It's a complete fuss about nothing, and smacks of bullying to me. The lad grow up in Sydenham and Forest Hill so is that part of London to follow Palace or have friends that do
Naive at best to put that out there but what’s done is done. Over reaction in my opinion from a few

Makes you wonder if the clubs media training goes as far as to say "be careful what you share about players who play for X clubs", you'd hope it would1

Nathan Asiimwe only saw 'team Jesus' or "ballers for God". As I said, NAIVE when Charlton are your Parent club but these religious lads who have professional contracts look up to Eze who was rejected by several clubs on his Journey to the England team and scoring the winning goal in an FA cup final.
Religion is a totally alien concept for me but guys like Asiimwe, Eze and our own Welsh Manic Pitch Preacher, Nathan Jones believes and they don't mind the global football world knowing about it.
"It's Jesus Man" said Eze.
"No, it's us" said every coach that helped in his development and his natural born talents coming to fruition.
If the Palace shirts had been altered to Cassocks this could be more amusing and less 😤 for many.

Can I add to Djiksteel as former players worth a punt. Alfie Dougherty. LB, LWB, LW.2

Absolutely no chance he’d sign for us, will have interest much higher up the transfer food chainGisappointed said:Can I add to Djiksteel as former players worth a punt. Alfie Dougherty. LB, LWB, LW.2 -
Probably couldn’t afford his wages or the transfer fee Luton would want. Also Edwards is probably 1 of 1/2 the squad that could make the step up to the championship so much more important positions to prioritise2

Players mix and I'm sure he will know some Palace players. No big deal. I hate Palace but that doesn't mean I should expect him to.3

Starting at Wembley today against JJs Wimbledon.
Also Pigott on Wimbledon’s bench2 -
Dangerous cross from him to set up a great chance, Walsall thought they scored but Wimbledon cleared it off the line. They then got a cross from the left but he couldn't get on the end of it.5

Nice highlights reel from his loan at Walsall.

Some really good crosses in there, his foot work moving the ball between feet to get past a player also impressive. Looks like the loan has helped him progress. Be interesting if NJ keeps him with us, or he goes out on a L1 loan this year3

Always liked him, hope he's retained.5

a rarity, able to cross and pass well with both feet, excellent, though 'highlights' packages never show the errors (excuse my slight cynicism)Scoham said:Nice highlights reel from his loan at Walsall.

I think that’s fair. Asiimwe has always shown ability on the ball and looks big, strong and quick enough to play for the first team. The questions are more around his defending and consistency which needed to be tested out on loan, but his highlights aren’t going to tell us how much progress he’s made.Lincsaddick said:

perhaps he would be more at home in a Campbell type role, though I believe he has yet to score a first team goal ? .. we should keep himScoham said:

In no way should a RB/RWB be playing as a striker. He’s good going forward but he’s definitely not an attackerLincsaddick said:

so what's 'going forward' if it's not attacking ?fenaddick said:

Small’s role as a very attacking wing back.Lincsaddick said:

I have always like him coming through.
In a weird way he makes a poor first impression but a good lasting impression.0
