I would have him learning from Ramsay - has the physical attributes that could shine in the RCB out of possession, RWB in position, given time.1
-
Lots of potential, still learning. Got badly caught out ball-watching atvthe weekend, bailed out by an excellent save by their keeper0
-
Starts the second leg for Walsall tonight... Just put in a cross that resulted in a corner2

Looks a touch more agile to me
Great loan move for him this
Holden sticking him in our side was nonsense.3 -

Nathans going to Wembley15

I can't see Asiimwe playing much in the Championship next season, so if we both go up, a loan to Walsall next season might suit all parties.2
-
Good to see Walsall fans rate him going off a couple of comments on our Facebook post.

Brilliant for us, dunno if we’ve got any shot of getting him perm
He's been fantastic for us and we probably would have been up automatically if he had got in the team earlier. How long we kept him off the pitch for we assumed he wouldn't be up to much, how wrong that was. Great player

Hoping he’s a religious lad and not a Palace supporter…

He is very much religious alongside Karoy.3
-
He's getting pelters for that on Twitter. Massively unfair IMO but a bit silly from him in the first place. People saying he should never play for us again is insane though8

Young footballer in 'thick as shit' shocker7
-
After his Instagram post would be surprised to see him ever play for the first team. Probably gets given a loan out to L1 next season build up his stocks then sell him next summer for a decent amount of money7
-
What has Asimwe got wrong?
Has he declared that he supports Crystal Palace?1 -
Loads of our youth players know and are friendly with youth players from other academies.
I have no idea what Palarse players are in that photo but there's a good chance Nathan knows one of them, and he, alongside Thierry and Karoy, are very religious lads, almost all of their posts say "Glory to God" "Praise Him" "Thanks to the Lord" etc etc so the caption more than anything is more important.12 -
He should have just had a pic of Nathan saying his prayers at the end of the play off match, did he post that at all0

Think it's symptomatic of young footballers these days, not their fault, just how it is -
1. Proper loyalty and a run through brick wall mentality seems low on the ground.
2. They wouldn't expect us to have any sort of rivalry with a Prem side, they just don't align the two.
I remember a couple of hours after another disastrous performance last season, one of our players posting a congratulations message on Insta to one of his mates who scored for another club. Wtf1 -
"Victory belongs to Jesus".
What does that shit even mean? Have they etched his name on the cup?3 -

Thats just embarrassing...no problem with his faith or who he's mates with...but you play for Charlton you fucking div! If you want to congratulate your pal keep it in your WhatsApp group ffs.5
-
It's naive from Nathan Asiimwe but so many of the black lads come from religious families and it's this which they adhere to with their constant reference to God and Jesus.
Asiimwe isn't thick per se, more that the 'ballers for God' is the team that these guys play for 24/7.
What happens if you have the same amount of religious players on both sides; does Jesus favour the one's who pray the most ?

Arsenal definitely needed Jesus rather than Sterling 😄1
