Josh hasn't looked too out of place for the most part either... Yes he's been a bit green at times, and it was unbelievably stupid from our Defence to have him marking Sweeney against Burton (especially when they went looking for a penalty), but that wasnt his fault.
Seems baffling that we decided to recall Asiimwe at all.
It's frankly baffling that he's not even considered an option by Jones.

My theory of Nathan is it takes him 15-20 minutes to get into a game, after that he is fine, but early on he can make a mistake or two.1

Off to Walsall, on paper a great loan for him

That's an excellent move for him. Top of League 2 in a side that's going well and plays good football is ideal for Nathan to progress8

This looks like a good move all round. If he is too far on the fringes here, Walsall are a very good club and team at the moment to be joining.
I hope he can become a starter there on merit, good luck Nathan.6 -
start of the trimming, great move for him0

If he plays then a very good move all round.
That's the first move of the window.

Great move assuming he gets regular game time. I think he’s got a lot of potential with his physical and technical attributes.
Watching some of the u21 streams he’s progressed beyond that level, but didn’t always stand out as much as I hoped. He has an almost of laid back style, very different to say Karoy who’s all about aggression, running and intensity. Add more of that to his game along with being reliable defensively and he could go very far.4 -
Agree with those saying this look a great move, on paper. Hopefully he gets plenty of game time. I really like the look of Asimwe and he seems to have all the attributes to be an good attacking full-back/wing back. I hope a good few matches at that level will help him figure out how to get the best out of himself in mens football as he hasn't quite made the step up work yet when he's been played in our first team. You can see the potential there though.
Good luck Nathan!1 -
Think L2 will suit him better than NL and it means he has no fallback of being recalled. If he can’t get minutes he will have to fight for his place0

I said in July, Mat saddler wanted him then but couldn't get the deal over the line. Will be good experience for him.5

Leaburn to Brentford
Coventry to Coventry
and Jones (N) to Luton19 -
From what I was told albeit drunkenly was that Saddler didn't have the full confidence of the board as to whether it would be a good acquisition or not ( concerns about whether he was good enough ) Although I don't know what's changed considering.
I'll get a catch-up at some point later in the year and get the full story2 - Sponsored links:

They might have watched some of his games at Hartlepool or feel he’s the best option they had I would guess.0

Baffling that a player good enough to be brought in by the team pissing L2, isn't even good enough to make our bench, when we have 2 players in his position out injured.9

I think Asiimwe has huge potential, if he can get game time at Walsall it could do him the world of good.
Good luck Nathan.5 -

For example, with the new system Small has been good but really struggling with tiredness at the end of games. Asiimwe would have been an obvious late replacement, fresh legs with the solidity of Alex Mitchell covering behind him1 -

Seems like a great opportunity for him to play a bigger part in a decent squad, well done to him for getting the offer and landing it. It'll be good to see him in a few months for pre-season, I have a feeling he'll be well worth seeing.0
