If he plays then a very good move all round.

That's the first move of the window.

    As the song goes

"Once you sign one, you'll sign more"

    Let the floodgates open
That’s all well and good for Walsall, but what about us?
Heed my words, 4 more deals before Bolton.
    Jones (L) to Wycombe
    Leaburn to Brentford
    Coventry to Coventry
    and Jones (N) to Luton
    Happy with the last one
  • When I first saw Asiimwe play I thought this lad can go all the way. This is a good move for him where he probably still has to earn a place in the side and hopefully it works out for him and us.
  • Brilliant move for Nathan, hope he gets plenty of game time. there is potentialy a very good player there.
  • Walsall 5-1 Tranmere about 10 minutes left. Asiimwe not in squad

Probably cup tied as I think he played in at least one of our previous matches.

EDIT: we knocked out Walsall so can't be a cup game! Ignore!

I for one can't wait for Ahadme to finally put pen to paper on that new 7 year deal.
    I think you’re in a room of 1!

Ahadme has scored more in league one than leaburn in the last two seasons.

True, but if big Carl ever did get a chance of coming off the bench for a cameo appearance in a league 1 game I suspect we’d be more confident in him making his presence felt.

Taylor out on loan the fourth?
  • Subbed on in the 74th minute in a 3-0 defeat away at Bradford. All goals were conceded before he came on.
  • While I can see why their manager would bring on an attack minded wingback when they are down three,  it is not really helping his development as he needs to work more in the defensive side of his game.  I would have preferred he dropped down a level lower and be regularly starting than getting piecemeal minutes in league 2

Walsall are romping the division so it was unlikely he'd come straight in and be a starter.
Even if he gets piecemeal game time up there he'll likely come back to us with a L2 winners medal which will definitely be something he will treasure.  but in reality he'll get more minutes as the season wears on and players get injured and suspended.
it's a good move for him
